Last time our friend Josh Johnson stopped by for a visit we had a little chat about his job as a dancer for the forsythe company.

During our conversation we both got hyped on the thought of creating something easy and unrestrained. We wanted to try something new. Something that does not do what is considered as what you should be doing. So we started filming this clip. Switching locations over and over again. Until finally we had created something we liked without cutting the footage. Just raw goodness.

To us this clip can have flaws. It is not supposed to be perfect. We want it to be seen as a sort of free work that should get us ahead. We are glad we finished this little project together and hope you like the result as much as we do.

What was the inspiration for your shoe ?
Peter: Our inspiration comes from the 4th century when the Vikings raised runestones all over Mälardalen in Sweden. Stockholm is located in Mälardalen and we’ve seen them since we were kids. One of the purposes of raising a runestone was to mark your territory, honour your family and to win power and glory.

Which part are you most proud of and why ?
Johan: We’re really happy that we could put the rune letters in the Asics stripe.

Why did you choose these colours and materials ?
Johan: All the colours are taken from the original runestones. Regarding the material, we wanted a material that looked like a stone.

today i had to justify myself for leaving my sons stroller underneath my colleagues table.
no joke. asking over and over again what the problem was it became more and more hillarious. in the end i was so confused and couldn’t find any other way out than to just direct all my power to the bottle in my hand and throw it on the ground. like a big tsunami. though that felt great i still don’t feel relieved. the problem is still undiscussed. next time i will try screaming out loud.

Sneakerness Cologne 2011

This year the Sneakerness European Tour once again made a stop at Cologne, Germany – this time from the 21st until the 22nd of May, 2011.

As always, there was a lot of heat to be seen – on the feet of the visitors as well as on the selling tables.

We know it has been a while since our last post but us folks at AZITA headquarters have been really busy searching for new stuff which we will be offering you in 2011.

That took a lot of time but we now promise to post stuff on a more regular basis for the future.

We are now very proud to welcome the ACRONYM A/W2010-11 collection instore and online.

The Munich, Germany based design agency founded by Michaela Sachenbacher and Errolson Hugh in 1994 is known for its unification of style and technology in apparel.  The name ACRONYM stands for the usage of only the best materials, the newest technology and most functional designs.

It is always a pleasure for us to open the boxes after the new shipment has arrived and to explore the new (and sometimes hidden) features of these wonderful jackets and accessories. These are not only VERY functional but also looking very nice as well.

we have four new postcard out. this time no fashioncards.

This time we wanted to do a little series about the good old times. back in the day there was no youtube. you had to got to the store and buy a video tape to watch your favourite pros. and there was no google maps to track down all the spots that you saw. but still we all knew the layout of let’s say carlsbad high by heart. when people started to film long lines around ‘95 they kind of accidentally showed us kids not living in cali around their home spots. it was like a guided tour hosted by pros. i remember someone who visited san francisco telling me about how funny it was to know where each ledge or bank was located at spots that you never ever skated at yourself before. to me these four spots and all the others like emb, huntington high or the brooklyn banks are like the wimbeldon centre court, the mont ventoux or the monza grand prix circuit. holy ground, highlander . . . holy ground!!
