The first week Patta is getting rit of their old stock and the week after that Ben G will bring you more nice gear and shoe’s for stupid low prices….start saving your cash motherf**kers!

This is Bob…..he’s been working for Ben G since day one and this is his first skateboard picture ever he told me. Backside kickflip over a box in the “Passage” taken last friday by “Broodhoofd”. I took this picture from his Flickrr site (thanks!).

The “Passage” is a skatespot that nobody ever skate’s anymore these days…before we had a indoor skatepark it was sessioned all the time when it rained and it rains a lot over here. The good thing about this spot is that the surface is supersmooth marble but that’s about it…you can do a line of 2 tricks and then you’re back on the cobblestone pavement that the whole innercity of Amsterdam excist of…

Strictly flatground tricks and doing tricks out of the bank as you can see on the picture here.There’s also a huge set of stairs next to the bank that appearently Jamie Thomas once ollied….but i never met anyone who actually’ve seen it…

Here is also short movie named “Welcome in Amsterdam” that my teamriders and friends made 3 years ago. Most of the footage is filmed in and around Amsterdam.

Urban Abstract in Amsterdam, Evan Hecox’s debut solo show in Amsterdam, is a continued exploration of urban landscapes in locales as disparate as Berlin; Mexico City; Manatuk, Long Island; Tokyo; and of course, San Francisco. Though largely known for his work in the Skateboard industry, his fine art is independently brilliant and moves beyond the iconography of the industry. His extremely flattened landscapes amplify elements of pedestrian and sometimes mundane landscapes, elevating the ordinary to the sublime through form, color, and composition.
Some will only recognize his work from the hundreds of skateboard decks he has designed. Those who have
followed his work will have the chance to witness this mid-career work as it continually evolves.
