Pakjesavond @ the Nike SB Pop Up Store
In Holland we have a tradition called “Sinterklaas”, it’s a bit of the same story as “Santa Claus” but not quite.. Sinterklaas is a bit more racist since he has a little black helper named “Zwarte Piet” (they claim he’s black from going down chimneys to get gifts to the kids but we all now better since we had slavery back in the day here in Holland) and instead of hanging your sock we expect a gift in our shoe’s…….Anywayz to make a long story short we celebrated this dutch tradition at Nike SB Pop Up Store! Kids had to write a poem to Sinterklaas and the best 50 were invited at the Pop Up Store to collect their gift….Here are some picture’s of the event that took place last night.
This is Dio and Big 2 they are local MC’s and got quite some national fame here in Holland. They’re the one who were playing Sinterklaas and in this case Witte Piet for the evening…..
