Johnny cupcakes was in SF for his suitcase tour. Johnny and I have been friends for a few years and were both part of a project together with The Hundreds. What Johnny has built is inspiring to say the least. He is doing much more then just making clothes. He has built a community and inspired so many people including myself. Keep it moving Johnny – it was good to catch up when you were here. See you in Boston this summer!

Here are some pics of our new scout belts. They go great with our recently launched denim line! Belts have a high gloss tonal die cut metal buckle and logo embossed belt tips available in black or grey ribbed canvas.

We opened our doors last Saturday for our first Brick n’ Mortar retail store in San Francisco. It’s a bi-level Mission space that serves both as our graphic design studio (upstairs) and retail showroom on the bottom level.

I am proud to let you know that our collection has expanded to include denim for the first time. It took half a year of sampling and multiple revisions to get it done just right. The denim is made in the USA of high quality materials available in a raw or gold selvage option. I am really excited about our expansion into denim.

WOW! This weekends grand opening was amazing. If you didn’t make it out you blew it. All the support that the community showed us is humbling to say the least. SF came out in full force as well as out of town guest from NY, Japan, LA, Arizona and beyond. Thank you so much for making the trip and our first retail store opening a HUGE success!

The taco truck showed up after the cops came and harassed us. We were wild in the streets. They tried to shut us down but we smoothed things out and the party kept going.

The support the skate community has shown me has been humbling. I am truly thankful and proud to share with you the Benny Gold X Spitfire wheels that are releasing tomorrow with the store opening. I have been riding Spitfires for as long as I can remember. I am more then happy to have the chance to design a set. They are limited to 25 sets (well… 24 I need to ride them also)

I am pleased to announce that this Saturday we will be releasing this seasons diamond embroidered new era caps at our grand opening. The demand for the hat was higher then we expected, so we will only have limited amounts available. If you have been emailing me and asking for me to hold your size I highly recommend you get to the opening early – they are going to go fast!

Everything is coming together for the new product launch and store opening this Saturday! I been working hard to make sure it all arrives by the time we open our doors.
