I am extremely pleased to present to you our Winter 2011 Benny Gold Look Book.

We ditched the ever so familiar urban landscape of San Francisco to take a stroll through the towering Redwoods. As sun beams pierced through the thick canopy and cast upon lurking trails of early morning fog, we wondered through the forest in heavy reflection on our youthful spirit and our appreciation of Northern California. We hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed making them.

The brand has always been about remaining youthful and not loosing sight of where we came from and where we are going — stay gold.

This photo of our upcoming Be@rbrick with Medicom recently got leaked and has been making its way around all the blogs.

I am very excited about this project and wanted to give you the details on it personally.

This special edition Fog Series Be@rbrick is inspired by the city of San Francisco. The design is a rendition of the famous fog that can be seen by the Golden Gate Bridge. The translucent body is colored in orange, mirroring the bridge peaking through the fog, while the bottom half is left untouched to translate the mist in the air. Custom clear packaging designed to further illustrates the theme – Which might be my favorite part.

Expect a late December release. Love your city!

We didn’t hold back on the design of this coat – it is tricked out with tons of details: diamond pattern quilting, double cuffs: ribbed inner cuff to keep out that SF wind, inside contrast lining, custom collar tape, chest embroidery, and an adjustable drawstring in the hem to keep you warm on cold foggy days.

It’s the perfect weather right now for this jacket and if you have seen me around I have not taken it off in weeks!

You can always tell when I really like a design from our collection because it shows up in multiple places. One of this season stand out pieces to me is our winter Nordic print. I hid our paper plane icon into the traditional snowflake pattern that you usually find on those ugly holiday sweaters.

Flipping something traditional and making it unique and your own is a challenge. It’s rewarding when you find just the right balance to make it work. I love subtle flips that take you as minute to realize the details that make it special. Enjoy our nordic print on this seasons Pom Pom Beanies, Crewneck Sweatshirts and scarfs.
