Just right after the BBB x 2007, Scott and Josh from 10DEEP take a couple of days in Paris. 10DEEP is for sure one of the next key brand in the future. Like the state of minds of this guy, really nature, humble, and absolutely not cocky hype selfish man.Let’s see if they will keep this flavor with the success… I definitely so…

On Sunday, we make kinda a tour into Beaubourg/Marais Area. Guyz seems to have loved the RUE DES ROSIER falafels (Chez Marianne, best spot ever to eat some)…

I’m always happy to show my town around, take some time with peeps from all around the world and make them discover our great spots.

The fact that the new AIR JORDAN V x LASER is doing is first european issue at OPIUM shop is a great honour…

It means a lot for OPIUM crew, but also for all the french street culture and french street market / sneaker market… PARIS is beginning to be one great and important street fashion city in da world…

OPIUM have set a special make up for this great event… Some people were sleeping since 12PM on the 12th…

Not so many stranger and foreigner buyer was there to buy the sneakers, kinda of weird and kinda expression of the new trends of sneakers market…

Last night i went to the launch of EA BIG x STREET HOMECOURT and DEJ JAM ICON…

Since one month PLAYSTATION got a showroom on Place des VOsges. Nice designed place, where you can play, test and try the new Ps3…

I’ve test STREET HOMECOURT game and even if the graphism are amazing and the tricks amazing, and the players very very well done, I was quiet a bit dispapointed by the gameplay… Before it was the hard to make some combinations now is so easy to dunk on three on the head of anybody… Let’s see… It was a still a beta version…

At the party I’ve seen TEX, Thomas G., and Guillaume from CLARK… Even Nike crew were playing so hard (Christophe & Mark rookies)… Nice guys in a nice place… Chilling party… Quiet and cool…

Yesterday got a cool lunch with Stephane G. from STÜSSY x SLAM JAM France, and his friend Maxance (ex CARHARTT).

We got some long chats about parisian street culture, and about lot of new shops which seem gonna open in Paris soon.

I’m happy about all this new projects, I think we need it… There are some shop owner who are not so pleased about it, they are kind of affraid for their own business (“paris street market is SO small” lolol), but honestly I think that the more it gonna have new shops ( not 20 but something like 8-10 in Paris) the more our culture and our audience will grow… And that’s good…

Anyway Stephane aka PETO ONE was really smart and preppy dressed, with this very limited edition STÜSSY x VARSITY JACKET with his nickname embrodered on it… Fresh! I love when street clothes goes preppy…

PETO is a very old school street player, you not gonna see him often kinda a discret and quiet guy… But I think we gonna heard from him soon…

This book is a bible… An hiphop bible…

But more than that its author Jeff CHANG explain the very start of the hiphop but not only with musical and cultural facts, he also explains the link with america history: social facts, historical facts, economical facts…

This book is a kind of America history threw hiphop culture… Hiphop is born when ghetto were burning, were the BRONX was the last place on earth you would live… How Jamaican rastafari was the real godfather of hiphop…

Im just starting it but i can’t stop to keep reading it.. The layout is so unhiphop… It’s  like an old classy history book… Such a smart layout

Really well documented, quasi exhaustiv… A must-have, but beyond all a must read… More link and pics after the jump…
