We live in such a small world.

This morning I just run into KAWS. Just in front of our office. He was going to see Sarah at colette. He is in town for a couple of days (DAFT PUNK concert in Nimes) and ORIGINAL FAKES private party, and some other business I must presume… LOL

Ok. Its maybe not the most interessant post of my life. Cool KAWS schedule LOL… But it not happends so oftenly, isnt it ? LOL

Im a screen culture nerd after-all… =P

After several months of an amazing hunt threw parisians streets. GREG and finally found one of the best sushi place in Paris. Fish amazingly fresh, and amazingly well sliced. The chef make some incredible mixed : like mint, strawberry, salmon. And the place is not so expensive. Not cheap but really really ok…

And the most delightfull moment, was the TORO part. It was the first TORO of the year. For the chef, it is one of the best. Honestly in my life I’ve never eaten a TORO as good as this one. It was like a sex orgy… LOL

I cant tell you right now where is it… Around our office, in little japan area… Maybe later… hehehehe… Domo Aligato Chef Swan!!!!! Hum Merci quoi… lol

Ps : It’s kinda interesting but the chef is not japanese but vietnamese… And he has been many times rewarded for his skills… Sometimes it’s so hard for a foreigner to be as good as a national sushi master, than it has to be really better and really devoted to his passion, so it has n o choice than being better… Did this make sense wat I just wrote ??? My english is more broken each day…

We got a new PR office in town but we didnt know that it was ours… LOL

Seriously, my man J. Benayoun former head PR director of a big PR office start to run his own PR office with such brand as BURTON, GRAVIS, ANON, PYRENEX (MONCLER and NORTH FACE down jacket and goose manufacturer), M. PIETRUS (NBA GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS)…

Weve got a nice lunch with his partner ROMAIN (former ADIDAS PR)… I wish them a very good luck for their new adventures…

It’s quite interesting how purple is became a popular color in PARIS…

And speaking of purple have you seen the new www.sneakers.fr layout ? A kinda “je ne sais quoi“ which reminds me something Im very familiar with… Im really flatered (and this is totally honest) by all those big tribute… Kinda proud of it also! Hell yeah!

We’ve just posted on BKRW the itw of WALLACE x FINGERCROXX and an article about HONG KONG market.

It was really interesting to meet WALLACE and visit his design offices. But most of all we got the chance to enter into the I.T. building. I.T is the biggest youth/trendy fashion group in HK, they are running BAPE store, COMME DES GARCONS, MARTIN MARGIELA, DOUBLE PARK etc…

The main question is FINGERCROXX a wack/mass market brand because of the power and the money of the big group behind it ? Of course money cant buy credibility or authenticity, but are FINGERCROXX clothes less strong because of money?

Saw on Parisian walls, on amazing african pictures exhibition around the LUXEMBOURG… I love street exhibition, best way to bring art and message to people. A very democratic way to offer some other point of view and artistic messages…

And then the next show made by GORILLAZ x ‘JOURNEY TO THE WEST’ with some amazing lineup and kinda circus athletes, chinese martial art shaolin etc… Sounds like so exciting… Those GORILLAZ guyz always do something nobody is expecting from them. Kinda hard trick!

I’ve been invited with my man APPOLLO and his little ROCK to the French Tennis Open. Thanks to Celine x Adidas for the lunch and the invitation.

Im not a huge fan of tennis to be honest, but RG is always a good moments, it’s a special break, you working the morning at your office then u spend something like 4 hours in a nice atmosphere, chilling and watching some games. It’s really cool… I really like it.

After a nice lunch, the game we’ve been watching was Justine HENIN vs Serena “bootylicious” WILLIAMS. Oh my god ! =P

Everybody is now aware of the french edition of FRANK 151. The issue is now out.

The BKRW team (APPOLLO, GREG and I) meet up the FRANK crew at their office, really near from our shop. It was a really interesting and unformal meeting. The guyz have been done a great job, they are really passionate and full of energy. A special big up to THOMAS Subreville for his great work as Editor in chief.

Paris seems now to grew up and change a lot. It’s amazing how many new heads and upcoming projects are poping up everwhere (new shops, new magazines, new internet website). And most important a new state of mind is blowing among parisian streets. Less gossips and more action ! Perfect !

As u should have seen… I didn’t post so much those last month… The past two weeks I were off, in complete holliday with my little family…
