last week was a great parisian week, full of events and launch.

first one was the americana high x paris at the new adidas original store. all the french bloggers have been invited to this event. it was funny to see everybody all together at the same event. GLLTN, HYPEQUEST, BH, MJC, SNEAKERS.FR… and for the first time only digital blogs were invited. where are the printed magazine now? lol The special display of the AMERICANA was really cool with a red and blue french 3 stripes… The saturday morning the shoes has been sold out in less than 35 minutes and ADIDAS offers some goodies, hot chocolate and coffee for the early morning sneakerfreaks.

this small event was also a way to the new MI ORIGINAL space (sneaker custom program by ADIDAS). first adidas store in europe to have 3 computers in the same place to design your own SUPERSTAR or ZX. nice dentist seats… the result is interesting. we are waiting for many more style and colors…

the day after that we’ve also been invited to PIGALLE opening. it was the chance to see foreign friends such as FATZ and artist JOSE PARLA… But most of all discover an interesting new shop. The guyz of POK did work great. we hope that many people will come to visit them soon. Their position on the market is kinda brave. Lots of big expensive stuff such as DR ROMANELLI jackets… But also sneakers and tees and high fashion brands such as RICK OWENS… We’ll see if they gonna find their customer (we do hope so!)

last week-end I’ve been to milano, check the beginning of the italian fashion week.

I’ve seen the whole new adidas originals collection and their new fashion show, with an incredible adidas vintage kicks collection. and met two of my old journalist pal ! RIDO was working for ROLLING STONE now he is working for his own street TV SHOW and SIMON from PIG (actually he founded it with also the sunglasses brand SUPER)… It has been a long time that I did not see them.

before that event, I went to slam jam shop meet my old friend MATTEO and FREDERICA for the launch of the OPTICAL FORCE pack.

and spend the whole night with them. in front of SJ shop they were maybe more than 300 fixed addict guyz. ready to party and eat together. the atmosphere was really friendly with lots of girls. It was really warm and simple. In fact it even tease me to do some fixed… maybe soon?

It was great to came back in milano and i used to have some kind of bad memories about this town. too dark. too much graffiti (bad ones) on the walls. no nice people etc… but this week end definitely cheers me up and reconnect me with this town. It was actually a short but good moment.

ps : a big grazzie mille to the slam jam girl who sell me the VISVIM. IM SO HAPPY to finally get it!!!!

ps2 : during ADIDAS FASHION SHOW I’ve heard an incredible italian song… I dont know why but even the other french guyz with me loved it. It is from LUCIO BATTISTIx DIECI RAGGAZZE… (the you tube video is not the best one but at least you’ve got sound)

a week end to visit my grand parents far away from paris. and then I found an amazing treasure!

be sure those two babies gonna be up soon to ride paris streets! hell yeah! they need more than new paint but I feel okay to handle the pimping! lol

september is starting on a monday this year. really funny…

anyway I hope that everybody got some nice holidays. lots of stuff to deal when you are coming back after weeks off.

we are really working hard at BKRW because many projects are going on around us. and we are all really excited about it.

BKRW V2 (or 2.0 lol) is about to pop out soon. SOmething like 1 or 2 weeks. Can’t say much more about it yet, but we are definitely stepping up. we really want to push our online magazine roots up.

this summer a very nice interview of ME, was done by the canadian guyz of FORMAT, thanks to them and their good digital work. check it HERE. check also this month their uk x london issue… it is really cool! 

this itw was for a french issue. and i felt kinda honoured to be one of the frenchy showing off! hehehehe! damm cocky me! but most of all it’s also remind me all the works we’ve done this year : the varsity jacket, the 10 tee collabs, the mixtape, the new online shop… sometimes the pace of work is so intense that you are not even realize what you’ve done. thanks to our team and partner! let’s see what we gonna do next! i bet you’ll be surprised!
