How come being in HK and not meet the guyz from HYPEBEAST. I know Kevin since a while now. Same from David x Highsnobiety, either…
I did remember our first meetings at tradeshows… I did also remember how much the market was hard against them. How street culture brands were really not understanding those blogs. BKRW has always been a magazine, since the very beginning so for us it has always been different. People were not really see us like internet geek…
What a revenge today for them. They are the bases of the global street-culture / sportswear communication. But still, brands dont understand their power… lol… I mean our power….

Amazing black rice, with a strong mango body and coconut milk. Thai dessert could really be some piece of art (inside and outside).

Kevin (left) and Eugene (right). Hypebeast 2.0… lol

It looks like VISVIM is the new black…

BOSSINI is a kinda of GAP in HK (or CELIO in FRANCE), they did a big collab with SESAME STREETS, and really wants that people being aware about it. Look that amazing temporary window display.

MONG KOK is such a energetic packed area of HK. Love to chill overthere… And actually test my whole new PENTAX 50/200 lens.

You can’t be in HK, and dont do a great streetlook. GREG was fighting against language boundaries to try to get his pics. We did a great job with HK x STREETLOOK. Check it here on BKRW!!!

Then we’ve went to see our very first HK friend ever : MCYAN, who actually just did open his own free radio. RADIO DADA (LANGHAM PLACE basement). Great place where you can listen free radio, grab some drink or ice-cream and buy design magazine. MCYAN is one of the most iconic guy of HK hiphop/streetculture. He is now more involved in chinese art contemporary and selling some great canvas. But still he is suppporting his own scene. Next week he gonna launch the first mixtape of the whole underground hiphop scene.

The whole design of the radio is really fresh and clean.

I love neon, I love night in HK. Look at this gorgeous colors…

A great car in front of BAPE STORE…

Every street look like a movie to me…
