I dont usually like this american city but this time it was not that bad! Food was better because most of the time I did cook for myself and Ive taken time to chill in the BIG APPLE…

NIKE STADIUM PARIS ask to BKRW creative agency to set up a private parisian running club.

(The same initiative leading by Charlie DARK in London or Edson x PATTA in Amsterdam or Samantha x FRUITION in USA).

To be honest with you Im more than excited ))) by this project, first of all because Im lucky enough to work with a great coach called Renaud LONGUEVRE (headcoach of famous french athletes) and also because I love sport. For me all the excuses are good to be allowed to leave the office and move my ass off! Trainings are every tuesday night here comes our first session shot by Yannick DO x WEAREBLIND

We were more than 30 during that first run on the QUAI DE JEMMAPES. During the second one we were more than 40! HEHEHEHEHE!

Jessica from NIKE STADIUM Paris did set up with L’ARAIGNEE a futuristic LUNAR oriented design for our PARIS RUNNING CLUB. Props to them the whole results is really sick! (and im trying to stay objective!)

Since two months BKRW is now part of a big pop-up soccer club (PARIS CITY CUP) including 8 teams of parisian influencers (such as LAZY DOG, COLETTE, BKRW, COOL CATS/MJC, SURFACE TO AIR, PAIN O CHOKOLAT, STREET MACHINE and YOUNGUNZ). Each monday night we do all go together playing soccer.

Last wednesday to celebrate the first game of the FRENCH NATIONAL TEAM, we’ve been all invited to the whole new NIKE BootRoom Champs-Élysées to make our own NIKE SHOES ID, and watch the french team beat the costa-rica up!

I finally get my hands on my whole march pics taken with my BLACKBERRY 9700… Its been an intense & hectic month : PARIS, NEW YORK, GENTILLY… lol

We finally (and sadly) have to take off the JR x CASA AMARELA installation from our POP-UP SPACE of RUE DES ARCHIVES. And did open a whole new and exclusive SUPRA x BKRW POP-UP Shop.

NIKE did a couple of great events :

A BABYFOOT TOURNAMENT at DOMEAU & PERES gallery to celebrate the launch of the new M96 Tracksuit Jacket.

SHOES-UP vs CLARK magazine for more than a simple babyfoot game. lol

Then an event with colette for the launch of the NIKE AIR ROYALTY MACARONS, during a crazy cooklette time!

And at last but not least : a (RED) one at the new LE MARAIS x NIKE SPORTSWEAR FLAGSHIP. A custom lace event made with ANDREA CREWS.

BLACK RAINBOW also did receive a nice exclusive FREE LIL’WAYNE TEE. Made by a whole new american brand. DRUG OF THE NATION.

I’ve got to go shortly (4 days) in NYC. And honestly got such an amazing weather! Sunny. Lighty. Warmy! All the ingredients that make you love the BIG APPLE…

And I did fly for the first time on an A380. One of the most confortable/quiet flight since a while. Great experience!

Back in Manhattan, Ive got to go and see one of the best record shop in the world : A1 RECORDS. Hold by a really good friend of mine : Jeremie aka KINKIN. This place is a pure sound jewelry.

Back in PARIS, we have the chance to get the very copy of the new WAD MAGAZINE. With a full page about BKRW/BLACK RAINBOW. I kinda like this picture. And actually it is the first official pics of GREG and I since the beginning of BKRW/BLACK RAINBOW. WOW! Ive got such an handsome and cute partner! lol

And lets finish with the biggest fresh news of march : my whole new bike (merci @gregbkrw). Its a simple single speed. Honestly I were riding VELIB’ since last september. And it started to be a real nightmare. Im so fukin happy on my new bike. Cant wait to ride BERLIN with it (@artoo be ready man!)

Im guilty.

Since the 19th of July I did not post anything. Omg.

But Ive got some really good reasons for that.

July was a real crazy month. I really thought that its gonna be like a cool and chilling time BUT suddenly we have to work on NIKE IAM1 PARIS project and prepare the opening of our new office/space in PARIS (secret)…

And so we have to take care of 5 teasers set up to announce 5 tournaments : running, bike-polo, basket-ball, soccer and tennis. Check the 5 teaser directed by ALBAN TEURLAI and music by TAHITI BOYS. Each of his teaser featuring one guy/girl from streetculture parisian communanty : Romual x THE LAZY DOG, STEPHANE x PIGALLE, Olivia x SHOES-UP Magazine, MARC x PIGNON FIXE, and my self. It was some great moments, it takes nearly one week to shoot them and the same time to edit it.

Then we’ve to do the tournament and honestly it was just awesome. Check the video we’ve done with ALBRECHT GERLACH of each. It was really fresh, some extraordinary good and positive vibes, and a nice atmosphere. It was just great…

François is one the head shoes product manager (maybe not his exact title) of ADIDAS ORIGINALS France. He is always trying to dig out amazing vintage silhouette. He was at the beginning of the AMERICANA x PARIS when we decided to work together on this launch. Now he just send me this new shoes. For all those who did love tennis. You can’t have forgotten Ivan LENDL. Here comes his shoes. 20 years later. lol

ASICS x BBB x SALMON and BUTTER

Well… HumHum… Ive elected this shoes in my special top 5 ugliest sneakers of the year when PHIL x SPORT&STREET x BBB decided to show it to me. (Sorry to be honest). After seeing it since more than 2 weeks, let’s say that this shoes is as ugly as the first sight. But honestly Im starting to like it… And honestly ASICS GEL silhouette really rock! Va comprendre charles!

HS x NEW ERA

When I was in Berlin DAVID x HS welcome me very nicely in his office. Apart the fact that JEFF was always sleeping noisily right next to me. It was a good times. The HS guys were just received this very nice NEW ERA collab. It is a really great one. Nice fresh preppy colors and a new fit and silhouette. Really confortable to wear. Merci les gars!

QWSTION Backpack

My old friend SEBASTIAN who Ive met when he was working for BURTON, is now founder of a great bag brand called QWSTION. He was in PARIS for CAPSULE and got a nice surprise for me. This bag is really great. Nice shape, very good materials. And very very nice details. Im happy!

NIKE x STAGES x Messenger Bag

After STAGES exhibition x PARIS, when it was about to leave the gallery. We’ve received this great NIKE x MESSENGER BAG with some YELLOW craies (in french) and a LANCE AMSTRONG x LIVESTRONG bracelet. The bag has not amazing materials but got a real great shape and design. With a perfect all-black and a yellow touch make-up.

Today was a good day… lol

2day I’ve received a fresh letter from AUSTRALIA in my (real) mailbox.

My good “other hairy mate” WOODY just send me (better late than never) the last issue of SNEAKER FREAKER. #14.

SNKRFRKR is my favorite street culture oriented printed magazine. The most interesting to read, with always amazing stories. This time WOODY made a great covering about NIKE ACG history, and some great interviews of ACG designers… We’ve been invited by NIKE ACG for an amazing trip in MOAB x UTAH to meet ACG designers and learn more about the ACG story. Stay tune on BKRW for some videos and our covering.

At last but not at least, I’ve also got a nice SNKRFKR poster….

last week-end I’ve been to milano, check the beginning of the italian fashion week.

I’ve seen the whole new adidas originals collection and their new fashion show, with an incredible adidas vintage kicks collection. and met two of my old journalist pal ! RIDO was working for ROLLING STONE now he is working for his own street TV SHOW and SIMON from PIG (actually he founded it with also the sunglasses brand SUPER)… It has been a long time that I did not see them.

before that event, I went to slam jam shop meet my old friend MATTEO and FREDERICA for the launch of the OPTICAL FORCE pack.

and spend the whole night with them. in front of SJ shop they were maybe more than 300 fixed addict guyz. ready to party and eat together. the atmosphere was really friendly with lots of girls. It was really warm and simple. In fact it even tease me to do some fixed… maybe soon?

It was great to came back in milano and i used to have some kind of bad memories about this town. too dark. too much graffiti (bad ones) on the walls. no nice people etc… but this week end definitely cheers me up and reconnect me with this town. It was actually a short but good moment.

ps : a big grazzie mille to the slam jam girl who sell me the VISVIM. IM SO HAPPY to finally get it!!!!

ps2 : during ADIDAS FASHION SHOW I’ve heard an incredible italian song… I dont know why but even the other french guyz with me loved it. It is from LUCIO BATTISTIx DIECI RAGGAZZE… (the you tube video is not the best one but at least you’ve got sound)
