Ive just watched the CREATIVE CONTROL video about UNKNWN… Really interesting. I know Chris and Samantha x FRUITION since a while, weve even done a fashion shoot together back in the days for BKRW with my friend Albrecht GERLACH…

Its funny because of the location itself of the shop : I mean back in the days a street culture shop was supposed to be located in a nowhere place. Hard to find. Hard to get.
Now UNKNWN is in a fukin department store !!! And its gonna be “a modern educational platform”…

Its exactly the same concept we’ve created 5 years ago BLACKRAINBOW in one of the biggest european streetwear/lifestyle department store called CITADIUM.

Im glad to hear that philosophy again
Im glad that finally hypocrysis about hype is now falling apart
Its time that people who are not from streetculture meet the clothes, the music, the sneakers and the culture itself…
Because at the end of the day sharing is the key (even if thats sound more than cheezy!)

And now can we talk about #influencers again?

The second part of our work with JONONE is a special limited edition collab. His famous THROW UP signature turn into a 3D design object : a FLOP vinyl sculpture.
We are really proud to present the JONONE x Artoyz Originals x BKRW Flop vinyl.

JONONE will sign 30 JONONE x Artoyz Originals x BKRW Flop vinyl sculptures at the shop this very afternoon for our very temporary exhibition.

One year ago, 8 young, fresh, and sexy frenchies pop-up in my office with an interesting project.

They are in their own niche.
They are in their own culture.

I dont necessarily share all the aspects and all the luv they show to it, but I respect their commitment to defend it and speak about it.
Call it PREPPY, call it SAVOIR-FAIRE, call it wateva it somewhere between HYPE, FASHION, HIGHFASHION, LUXURY, and CRAFTMANSHIP…

One year ago we decide to create together www.dejeunesgensmodernes.com

We’ve tried with my partner GREG to make them grew up and help them by giving them  some advices (mistakes we’ve learned from www.bkrw.com) and a more squarrel frame.
One year later they are still up and bring a big wave of freshness into the french and international fashion/preppy industry.

The website started as a blog like, only in french.
The website is becoming now more mature and is also translated in english (more in a digital magazine way).
We’ve just brought new features on the website the past week; go and check it out.

Im happy about those kids.

NIKE STADIUM PARIS ask to BKRW creative agency to set up a private parisian running club.

(The same initiative leading by Charlie DARK in London or Edson x PATTA in Amsterdam or Samantha x FRUITION in USA).

To be honest with you Im more than excited ))) by this project, first of all because Im lucky enough to work with a great coach called Renaud LONGUEVRE (headcoach of famous french athletes) and also because I love sport. For me all the excuses are good to be allowed to leave the office and move my ass off! Trainings are every tuesday night here comes our first session shot by Yannick DO x WEAREBLIND

We were more than 30 during that first run on the QUAI DE JEMMAPES. During the second one we were more than 40! HEHEHEHEHE!

Jessica from NIKE STADIUM Paris did set up with L’ARAIGNEE a futuristic LUNAR oriented design for our PARIS RUNNING CLUB. Props to them the whole results is really sick! (and im trying to stay objective!)

Since two months BKRW is now part of a big pop-up soccer club (PARIS CITY CUP) including 8 teams of parisian influencers (such as LAZY DOG, COLETTE, BKRW, COOL CATS/MJC, SURFACE TO AIR, PAIN O CHOKOLAT, STREET MACHINE and YOUNGUNZ). Each monday night we do all go together playing soccer.

Last wednesday to celebrate the first game of the FRENCH NATIONAL TEAM, we’ve been all invited to the whole new NIKE BootRoom Champs-Élysées to make our own NIKE SHOES ID, and watch the french team beat the costa-rica up!

Many people keep asking me what is BKRW/BLACK RAINBOW crew? Who are our parisian core friends and family…

We are not that good to talk about ourselves, and even worst when its about our own crew… LOL

We are searching for a special homemade/fitted BKRW video concept with my friend and great director NARBRU since a long time… And We finally find it. Its CHILL’OUT.

I must admit that NARBRU did insist a lot to put me in front the camera… Im not a shy guy. REally not! lolol! But its not really in our culture to be in the lights, we are workin in the dark, counter-culture and underground movements are not supposed to be so in front.

When LEVI MAESTRO was in PARIS, his personnality and his show and the fact that I know him since a while help us to set up the whole CHILL’OUT concept.

Now we’ve done it again with Todd SELBY at colette. And it was fuckin fun to do… Karaoke in the middle of colette window display… WTF! Todd helped us a lot on that. Props to him and colette crew too! Check the video if you dont have the chance to have seen on BKRW, on Phil blog (merci la famille) or everywhere else…

Last week we did post that really unusual and whole new we’ve done with LEVI MAESTRO when he was in PARIS… (I know Im fukin late on my own blog…)

Honestly NARBRU (BKRW director) did a great directing job on that video… He was the one to insist on bringing a whole new kind of video interview concept on BKRW. We are now doing video on BKRW since a while (check the YOUTUBE ARCHIVE VIDEOS channel) and you’ll see that the line-up is kinda impressive : FUTURA, BOBBY Hundreds, Jeff STAPLE, ESPO, Jeremy SCOTT, ANDRE, SARAH x COLETTE… And we’ve been always trying to be behind the camera. For the first time we’ve been in front of it…

Actually NARBRU came with that CHILL OUT new video idea and the concept to chill and have fun with somebody is actually refreshing… So far the feedback of that new video are really great and Im fukin happy bout it… Be sure that we gonna push even more that new CHILL OUT format…

LEVI MAESTRO is a really interesting guy. For me a real symbol of the young STREET-CULTURE consumer and new generation. Check more of our analysis on BKRW…

I hope you gonna like it, we really have fun to do it… SO many funny scenes to add but the whole thing would have been a way too long!

The last two weeks have been intense both in PARIS and BERLIN…

I’ve been to BERLIN first for BBB… It was a great week. Berlin is such an amazin city with really nice peeps. I know it could sound cheezy but it is true. Since BKRW BasketBall Tournament we’ve made last summer with NIKE at PIGALLE we are building strong links with the guyz ovathere. They don’t know how to play basketball but they’ve got nice girls… So that’s why we like them! lol
