11 March 2011, 17.43 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Today we are launching the first in a series of original mixtapes exclusively released to us at C Store. This mix is by Stockholm based dj-trio Name In Lights. The mix is awesome & we’re super excited over this new edition to our store!

With only a couple of remixes & one original 12″ single released on their own label FEED, Name In Lights have already stirred up quite a commotion. With releases scheduled on both NYC label Wurst & UK label Under The Shade later this year, Name In Lights are definetly starting to gain international reputation & recognition. Remember where you heard them first!

The mix showcases the latest release on FEED from Emir Krkic’s MUSLIM DISCO CLUB

Denim Demon Friday

03 March 2011, 11.48 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Cancel all your plans! Tomorrow night we will properly present the fantastic Denim Demon spring collection here in the store. It will be a night dedicated both to Sami denim & disco, as Muslim Disco Club (who’s just about to release their debut 12″) will be djing. Drinks will be served by Lappish brewery Nyckelbryggerier & Denim Demon’s own Oskar Sommarlund will be there to answer all your questions on these fine products. As a result of too much alone time in the studio, FEED records label-head and Name In Lights guitar wizard Emir Krkic found himself in the middle of a solo project. Heavily influenced by the music of his childhood days in Bosnia and Herzegovina and his newfound passion for middle eastern belly dance guitars, Emir adds his own special touch to the disco scene.

But the night doesn’t end here, Afterwards we will be celebrating the new FEED records release “Muslim Disco Club” @ Under Bron!

Caliroots Keybotz Custom Show

30 November 2010, 01.33 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

KeyBotz is the very first vinyl toy platform to come out of Sweden and is a mix between the vinyl toy concept and a dash of industrial design and functionality. A KeyBot is a 2.5 inches small figurine that besides looking splendid on shelves can be used as a container for your keys and can be carried in your bag, pocket, around your neck, etc. – Just place one key in each of its arms and it will be your faithful key servant forever!

The aim with the KeyBotz concept is to become the northern hub of vinyl toys and to put Scandinavian artists on the “vinyl toy map” by offering its body as a canvas for them to create on. The first series to be launched is “Scandinavian Masters” – a series of seven figurines created by seven top notch illustrators, graphic designers and artists in Scandinavia.

A DIY version is also being launched. KeyBotz is the very first vinyl toy platform to come out of Sweden and is a mix between the vinyl toy concept and a dash of industrial design and functionality.
