Was at the adFunture Factory again this week, working out some new goodies, and checking on current productions as well. Some sweet stuff will get released soon, very soon. At the moment, we are working on special series of YOKA. Hope to show those off in a few weeks.

ARKIV INSTANT is getting a new color treatment. 3rd edition we’re on, officially.

There’s something very cool about black on black. I don’t know what it is, but I just love it.

FIRE PANDA, originally exhibited last year at SoleGoodz and Iconic-1 during FIRE PANDA 10th Anniversary Exhibition. adFunture will be releasing this big vinyl this Summer, and yes, proper distribution etc etc.

I was always told I didn’t show enough love for the Mini-G Series, but is simply not true. Love the series and quite alot of the variants in the series. For example, this variant designed by ANTZ in Singapore. It looks very hot~ It was the first time we worked with ANTZ, and after we saw this, we started other projects with him.

This series was also special to us because we used this platform to worked with a number of our Taiwanese buddies such as REMIX TAIPEI, REVELATOR, Filter017 and Phalanx. It was a celebration.

Couldn’t get my hands on this Boba Fett when it first came out in the early ’80s. So when I was in Toronto years later, I bought one whenever I saw one! Opened, unopened, mint-on-card, what have you. This particular one, I bought in New York Comic Con a few years back. Pretty beated up, but I don’t mind. Just for keep sake.

While moving studios, I stumbled across a few of the FAILE DOGs we produced with New York artist crew FAILE back in 2006. They were used as street art, FAILE stuck these on walls instead of using paint or stencils. These were never offered to collectors, as it was never meant to be a product. We didn’t even make boxes for these, just raw vinyl sculptures. We know FAILE has sold a few in their past gallery shows, as I saw a few got up on ebay before. It has been 4 years almost. I’ll let a few of these go via our webstore this week. But there is no printed box for this, just as is. I’m sure a few collectors would love to add this odd ball to their collections.

The MISHKA crew is at it again! This time around, opening their first LA Store! Big congrats to the boyz! It opens TODAY (yeah, should have posted this yesterday, I guess…) and there’ll be some mighty goodies in store for those going to visit.

Continuing on our collab, adFunture did a new colorway of BOOTLEG KAIJU with MISHKA, and it looks like THIS:


As always, with Bootleg Kaijus, the edition size is quite low. So, don’t sleep on these!

I just walked home from a movie, and everywhere was like this on the streets… yup, firecrackers. Yup, is Chinese New Year. Well, the exact new year day was Feb 14th, so I’m a few days late on this matter. I usually just hide at home during these holidays, ‘cos Shanghai city is usually pretty crazy in terms of crowd control during these occasions.

I did caught up with my sleep though, which is quite nice.
We rarely get snow here in Shanghai, but 12am of Feb 14th, we saw this….

Yeah, she was happy, and that made my life alot easier.. haha

Thanks to DKE, adFunture’s YOKA Exhibition will happen again in USA, this time around, Los Angeles. The exhibition starts tomorrow, at Black Maria Gallery. There are over 200 pieces of customized YOKA figures on exhibit, they are very well done, trust me. The collection was previously shown in SDCC, and this will be its gallery debut. If you’ll be in the area, please go check it out and help me congratulate the gallery on the show.

As we are getting closer to the actual Shanghai Alleycat event, sponsoring brands are rolling out the goodies. None of these items are for sale, but produced to be given away to the participants and winners from the day’s race.

adFunture will be giving away 100 of these Shanghai Alleycat YOKAs to those registering to race that day.

While ONEWAY will drop its newest messenger bag item, and to start things off, 10 of these especially made variants will be awarded to the winners of the different categories in the event.

I held one of these tonight, and must say I like the quality of it.

For its regular season, I know for a fact that ONEWAY will have like 5 other colorways of this design, without the Alleycat logo and VEIL’s logo of course. I wouldn’t mind a red one myself. K, you get my hint~~
