Frank The Butcher

Low End Professionals.

05 August 2011, 02.24 | Posted in Music, The Butcher Block | No comments »

Chicago is known for producing some of hip-hop’s most popular acts. From the obvious Chi-Town ambassadors Kanye, Common, and Lupe Fiasco, to the Windy City’s most infamous Crucial Conflict, Do or Die and of course the fastest gun out the Midwest — Twista, all with different stories to tell. The new Gotham’s low end is also home to Chicago’s newest voice– The L.E.P. Bogus Boys. Count and Moonie have moved over 80,000 mixtapes in their ten year rise to prominence and show no signs of slowing down. With colabs in the bag with Rick Ross, Jim Jones, Ski Beatz and Mobb Deep– the “low end professionals” move as effortlessly through other rappers cities as they do their own.

Had to chance to connect with the guys and interview them for Karmaloop TV.

PS– Moonie made it clear that he needs a slot on my seeding list. Got you homie.

Camouflage Season | Camo Bespoke by 5 Star General of the ATF Crew

11 July 2011, 01.29 | Posted in Friends, Product, The Butcher Block | No comments »

W-W-W-W-W-World Premier!!!

It’s always camouflage season and this Nike Air Force Bespoke is confirmation of that! Made from a pair of Woodland pattern BDU shorts and features a black micro perf leather lining, wax laces and an ever so classic gum out sole. You already know how I feel about camo and believe me, I don’t usually covet another man’s shoes… but DAMN.

Designed by the 5 Star General of the ATF Crew. Yeah that guy!

Its The Cons 3

Converse recently introduced the use of Lunarlon foam drop in with the Startech LE High and now in this very clean silhouette called the ‘Straight Shooter’. This version has the same outsole as the Startech but features a duck canvas low profile upper.

I am an avid Cons rocker but it’s not a secret they are not the best in comfort, especially heritage models, but this shoe is light and super comfortable. Just became my summer staple!

This model is a part of the First String line and will be available in the next couple of weeks.

New Balance “Kennedy” voted #2 on Complex top 25 sneakers of 2011

The response on this New Balance 999 has been amazing. “The Kennedy” has gone down as one of the most popular New Balance collaborations in recent history.

I’m very proud of it.

Paul Mighty “Game of Life” f. Maffew Ragazino Sr. & “Reigning King” Produced by Paul Mighty

Frank The Butcher & The Butcher’s Block present Massachusetts rapper / producer Paul Mighty.

Paul Mighty fuses crate diggin’ production principles of the golden era with a witty, modern & introspective rhyme style that is his own. Joined by Brownsville gunner Maffew Ragazino Sr. on ‘Game of Life’ and rolling solo over the dusty crackling sample of his proclamation ‘Reigning King’, Mighty shows that he gets it done on the boards and in the booth.

My Bespoke AF1 voted #9 on Complex top 25 list

Pleasant surprise.

My Nike Air Force One bespoke landed on Complex Magazine’s The Best 25 Bespoke Nike Air Force 1s list with the likes of sneaker royalty Dj Clark Kent, Mayor, Bun B and my brother from the UK, Gary Warnett.

Amazing honor.
PS — Not Gucci inspired.

Peep rest of list HERE.
