V1 Gallery x Werkstette
Please join us for the grand opening of Werkstettes new office and project space.V1 gallery have curated a unique exhibition with one off photos by 5o something danish andinternational artists including: Wes Lang (NY), Peter Funch (DK), Helena Christensen (DK),Aaron “Aaron the Don” Bondaroff (NYC) , Barry McGee (SF), Misha Hollenbach / PAM (AUS), Troels Carlsen (DK), Claus Carstensen (DK), Matthew Stone (UK) and many many more…. Our friends at 7.inch.dk set up the first Sneaker Banquet opening this saturday at Copenhagens oldest and most fancy hotel Hotel Dàngleterre. It will be a day in the sign of the sneaker and will feature talks by Bobbito aswell as others… Also the lastest Norse x Adidas Kopenhagen collab will be presented at the event with a possibility to sign up for a pair of shoes in the release day…

Sneaker Banquet is Denmark’s first conference solely dedicated to sneakers.

The Sneaker Banquet will offer guests the opportunity to gain a deeper
understanding of what sneaker culture really is, and how the phenomenon
began. The event will take place in the gorgeous surroundings of Hotel
D’Angleterres Palmehave.

This Saturday is not only for the people who are already part of the
blossoming Danish sneaker community, but a place where anyone interested
is invited to come by to get an insight into the phenomenon.

Several of the big sneaker brands will be displaying, selling and
launching models, which have not been shown other places than at the
Sneaker Banquet.

Throughout the day, a range of sneaker personalities will be sharing their
knowledges and love of sneakers, including:

BOBBITO GARCIA:

Here is the first sneak preview of our latest collaboration with Adidas City Series.
The shoe is based on the original Kopenhagen model and is made in dark navy leather with offwhite soles and yellow details as on the original. The shoe will be released in Norse Store and online store on Nov 14th. www.norsestore.com

We are proud to present our newest collaboration with

legendary swedish glove company Hestra.

Hestra who was first known for making gloves for the swedish lumberjacks and skiers was founded in 1936 by Martin Magnusson. In 1982 Hestra introduced the first Gore Tex glove to the market. Today Hestra is one of the most respected companies making sking gloves supporting national teams such as Sweden and Norway.

The glove is a traditional workwear glove made in soft deerskin. The glove comes with the classic Norse label and embossed Norse projects logo on the side.

The new Norse Projects FW09 line finally hit the shelves

Some time ago my girlfriend Yukari Hotta and her friend Ken Fujimoto, both from Japan started a blog called Too Little Too Late. The blog is based around being a Japanese living in Scandinavia and features lots of creative projects and other stuff happening in Scandinavia.

Yukari Hotta is educated as a product designer from Denmarks Design School and based in Copenhagen Denmark. Ken Fujimoto gratuated from Beckmanns School of Design, with a degree in fashion and based in Stockholm Sweden.

Today when biking to the city i saw this ad placed by Metallica at Noerreport Station.
Theyre playing 5 totally sold out gigs at the Forum Arena. Tonight is my turn to go see them for the 4th time.. NICE!!!
