Even though the band was formed much earlier they released their first album I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose in July last year.

Here is the first teaser of the Norse Projects x Hideout x Barbarian Co-lab releasing May 14th exclusively at London’s  Hideout store and the Norse store in Copenhagen.

Late last year Norse Projects took contact to one of our favorite partners and personal friends, Michael Kopelman of Hideout in London regarding teaming up to create a unique item together.

After thinking for a while Michael came up with the idea to make a real rugby shirt, in the best possible quality. This meant that teaming up with  a genuine rugby gear manufacturer was esential

After researching the rugby market we decided to work with Canadia-  based Barbarian Rugby Wear to produce a small line of polos designed for and by Norse Projects and Hideout.

Barbarian has been producing the finest custom made rugby shirts since 1981 made for genuine rugby players using only fibers of North American orgin.

NORSE PROJECTS X THE HIDEOUT X BARBARIAN

Technical info about the shirts:

- Underarm reinforcing patches sewn with a zigzag-stitch for added durability.

- Rubber buttons for safety are attached with a cross stitch.

- Placket protected by 4 pieces of heavyweight cotton herringbone tape, assembled with single- needle lockstitch precision.

- Collar is 8.5-ounce twill, triple-stitched with 3/4″ reinforcing tape for extra strength.

- Semicircular reinforcing patch at the back of the neck.

- Overlocked seams with large bite using heavy-duty thread at twelve stitches to the inch

- Two bar tacks prevent placket from gaping open.

- Shirt bottoms are finished with two-needle cover seam stitch to provide full drape and prevent turn over.

- Lycra® plaited seamless cuffs attached with two-needle overlock stitch for exceptional shape retention.

- Full-cut tapered sleeve for maximum comfort.

Tomorrow is the release party for the long awaited book “Will I Go To Hell For This” about 25 years of subway graffiti in Copenhagen. Sunday the 17th from 15.00 – 18.00 at Lygten (Nørrebro Station) in Copenhagen.

Will I Go To Hell For This is a new Danish book from three dedicated authors about graffiti on the Copenhagen S-trains from 1984 to 2009. After more than two years of work, more than 75 interviews and after selecting over 600 photos, the final result is a book that gives an overview of 25 years of Copenhagen S-train graffiti and offers the reader a rare glimpse into the hidden world of the graffiti writers. To cater for both the local Danish audience and the international graffiti community, the book comes in two versions, one with Danish text and another version with English text.

The hardcover book contains 264 high quality, full color pages filled with great photographs, informative text and exciting quotes. The title, Will I Go To Hell For This, refers to a piece painted by Rens in 1993, Rens also supplied the logo and foreword in the book. The subject of Copenhagen S-train graffiti is divided into 14 chapters, ranging from graffiti terms such as Panels, Window-downs, Wholecars, Bombing and Insides to more broad chapters like History, The Life, Yards, Tourists and Resistance.
