We’re just back from our holiday in Italy, where we visited Rome, Napels and the Sorrento coast. Had a very relaxed time and the last 2 days of our holiday we were back in Rome to visit some galleries. When we visited Macro museum we heard that the travelling expo New York Minute was in town. The opening was just a couple of days earlier in Macro Future, a new space of the museum on the other side of town. Curated by Deitch Projects’ Director, Kathy Grayson, it features a selection of sixty artists from the New York scene.
We went there on sunday evening to have a look at the works of Dan Colen, Neckface, DearRainDrop, Paper Rad, Barry McGee, Chris Johanson, Dash Snow, Ryan McGinley, Taylor McKimens, Scott Campbell, Steve Powers, Tauba Auerbach, and Terence Koh amongst others. The space itself, an old slaughterhouse now filled with all the artworks worked really well. Have a look at the pictures…
