Girl Demo at Area51
Saturday we went to Area 51, an amazing skatepark here in Eindhoven, to check out a demo by the GIRL team who are touring Europe. Area 51 opened its (new) doors end of last year in a former industrial area of Eindhoven called Strijp. Most factory buildings aren’t in use anymore and more and more good inititiatives like bars, galleries and ofcourse Area51, are popping up in this desolated ‘Philips land’. Just before the demo, kinda busy, busses arrived from all over Holland and Belgium..

Afterwards everyone was allowed to enter the park..busy busy busy rollin’
Then we entered a secret door into outer space and checked the backside construction of the bowl:
Our intergalactic powerblast warrior has landed underneath the bowl with his brand new working space…so what all bowlriders don’t know is that they are skating on top of this spiritual headquarter of Eindhoven! Here you see us studying some of Cosmic Cracks plans to invade the world:
