Ontour

Sardinia

10 October 2007, 08.05 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Just back from our 2 weeks holiday with my girl in Sardinia. Amazing island and we took it very easy over there. Here’s the reality check to all the folders and internet picts I saw before (see last post):

So thats’ quite close! Here my girl saying Ciao on the beach:

Spotting some flora and fauna we can’t find in The Netherlands anymore (remember Silence of the Lambs?). The Acherontia atropos, check out the skull at the back:

Enjoying some great food…sardines!

Villasimius here we come!

In Cagliari we hooked up with Allessandro, who we met about one and a half year ago at Bread and Butter. At that time he was working for Laboratorio Follevollo, our first Italian client! They are still Ontour fans and really nice dudes. He was so kind to show us all the ins and outs of the city but as you can see the weather was really bad: Rain!!

Ofcourse we dropped by at the Follevollo shop to check it out. On the left is Leo, the shop owner and on the right Daniele and Matteo who helped in translating the Italian – Dutch – English.

The shop is really nice with a good selection of brands like Maharishi, Pharmacy and Edwin:

I was really amazed to see Perks and Mini (PAM) hanging there…one of my favorie brands:

Umbro by Kim Jones shoes:

And ofcourse our new Hide Ontour collection!

After all this excitement it was time to cool down and this is how they do it in Sardinia:

Later that day Allessandro took us to the store he’s working for at the moment; Invisible from Bertola. Another really good spot so when you’re in Cagliari you should definately check these stores.

Selection of brands is quite special with goods from Recon, Neigborhood, Undefeated, Original Fake, Supreme, Staple, Anything, Alife, MHI, Stussy Deluxe etc etc. Have a look yourself:

Back in Villasimius the weather still looked more like in Holland, but hey we went to the beach anyway as you can see:

And ofcourse we kept our sunglasses on:

The Cagliari crew invited us for another time to their city and we had some great sardinian food in a SlowFood restaurant:

This is Mitch striking a pose:

Marco, who works as an agent for SlamJam and Pharmacy, on the left and Ivan, a fanatic graf writer, on the right:

After diner we all went to this bar on top of the roof of an old building in the centre of town with an amazing view over the city:

Matteo and me girlie:

Then it was party time…

Vespa posse:

Luckily the weather got better and after the partying we still had some time to enjoy the sun as you can see.

Now I’m back for a week and it already feels months ago…but that’s always the case I guess. At our office a lot is about to happen…shop will open 20 october!

More about this very very soon!
