BIG KOI

Yesterday we received 2 very nice presents at our office. Remco from Asics Ontitsuka Tiger and Yoske from the Koi Klub sended as two sample pairs of the soon to be released  Fabre model, release date: 30-11-07. In three different colourways (I picked the red ones!), 550 pairs of each will be released coming friday in selected stores as 90sqm, Woei, Patta, Woodwood, Solebox, Colette, ReIssue and other usual suspects.

This is Onitsuka Tiger second sneaker collection created by the Koi Klub Berlin. Inspired by the look and feel of varsity jackets the design of this collection is called ‘BIG KOI’ and is dominated by leather, wool and chenille.

The text on the heel of the left shoe says Koi-ancient ways. On the heel of the right shoe the numbers ‘02′ refers to the year Koi Klub was founded and the collection to date.
