So everybody who likes some REAL talk and REAL drinks, come on over to bar Dos Trece on C/Carme 40, just off the Ramblas on Thursday the 3rd.

We booked the downstairs lounge and the idea is to go here straight from the tradeshow and stay till the big parties start…we’ll see what happens…hope to see all our friends, family and community there instead of only meeting in the blogosphere during the year!

T-World from Melbourne is about to drop their 4th T-Journal in New York at Boundless. To celebrate the worlwide release they will throw a party with the King Stampede crew coming friday the 27th of June. Last week they already released the mag in Australia.

Ontour will be featured in this magazine we’ll also be part of this NY event and give away some goodies over there, check the flyer below!

Last week we went to see the final degree show of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp, one of the best fashion academies worlwide, with ie. Martin Margiela, AnnDemeulemeester, Dries van Noten, Dirk van Saene, Veronique Branquinho, BrunoPieters, Bernhard Willhelm, Peter Pilotto as famous former students.

The shows are always spectacular and of a very high level and this year was no exception. Walter van Beirendonck has been involved for already 26 years as a teacher, but this was his debut as head of the Academy. For the first time they also released a magazine to go with the show called ‘Show Off’ with the end year master collections and also insights into the projects, workshops and bachelor work of the fashion departments…really nice publication!

All students from all the 4 years show their collections, 140 in total…so the show started at 20.00 hours and ended at 01.00 at night! Here some highlights:

The creativity and craftmanship is truly amazing and I always get really excited and energized after such a show…even after 5 hours non stop catwalk watching…well, also the models looked quite okay;)

Andor’s 24-7 is changing location in Nijmegen and to celebrate the upcoming opening he invited Eindhovens Y’sKid and Johnny Digital to karaoke on the 5th of july!

Jeroen Also Known As Revert is always the first to invite peeps when he gives a little party because he’s afraid someone will miss out…don’t miss this one on the 24th of August: the 11th Revert Summer Session…Skateboarding, BBQ, Music and Beers..what else do you need?

Our team made our country act mad…maybe you’ve already seen the orange virus in the stadium…this is what happened with some of my friends after the 4-1 against France last weekend:

Last tuesday we’ve kicked Romania out of the tournament (you’re welcome Italy..) with 2-0 with our ‘B-team’… MADNESS.

Guus Hiddink with his Russian team looked quite strong yesterday, but no worries…saturday we’ll prove who’s king! Oranje Boven!

What a start…our national team, the ‘underdog’, beats Italy with 3-0! Sorry for our Italian friends, but is was fucking awesome! Friday France…here we come! 

One of the fairs we’ve exhibited last editions and for sure will show again coming season is Bright Frankfurt. Every edition gets better and better and the set up can’t be compared with any other show out there. The list of good brands also grows every edition and we’re always very happy to meet our German stores over there!

At the moment we’re selling some Sixpack tees in our shop designed by Eindhoven local Erosie. This guy has been around for a pretty long time and left his trace in Eindhoven and far abroad. On the 17th of June I will be on stage for a talkshow organised by Streetlab…other guests will be Ido from 290 SQM, Gee from Patta, Jesse / Sebas from Freshcotton and Jolijn from Chill Out. Good line up I would say! We will mainly talk about ‘business’ from production to buying, how to start a label etc…From both the retail and brand side. That’s the plan, but with these guys on stage you’ll never know where it will end. Presentation by Farid from Lijn5 and Lee as a sidekick. 

I think it’s going to be interesting, but we shouldn’t talk too long otherwise we’ll miss the football match Holland – Roemenie!
