Busy weekend, but had some fun! On friday and saturday Dings / T-Shu and we organised a massive sale in the warehouse behind store Dings…Menno and his team did a great job in getting this trashy building ready. Dope location, this is how the place looked like just before the opening:
At 4 o’clock we opened the doors and within 30 seconds it was packed…and fucking warm!
After the first round Etienne had some time to do some serious folding:
These boys don’t cry indeed…
The East connection: our new intern Lorain and friend and when there’s free beer…Peter Frisco’s there!
Papparazi Vinylla and dj Milanoooooo
This weekend Eindhoven was the stage for the European Cycle Messenger Championship 2008…meaning our city was packed with fixies and mad bike messengers from all over the world. On friday they kicked off with an illegal Alley Cat race throughout the city and Dings was one of the checkpoints where the contestants had to get a stamp…so that got pretty crazy…in between the sales…

After Barcelona it was time for Frankfurt. Our German distributor always presents Ontour here at this nice tradeshow. Room 123 was the spot and Wouter and I went to see what was happening for the weekend…
Our hotel with view on the Hauptbahnhof:
Salesmeeting with ‘grune sause’! It starts to become a tradition that the guys from Panorama distribution take us to Wagner, a typical Frankfurter restaurant where no beers but only liters and liters of Apfelwein are being served together with kartoffeln, grune sause und schnitzel. Our Belgian distributor Jean from ICC distribution joined, together with his friend who designed the Supreme Being booth. At the end of the tradeshow they heard they won ‘best booth of the show’!
Straight into partymode afterwards…openingparty from Lee in a big venue. Some big names were playing, but most of we time we were hanging in the ‘Biergarten’ where we could smoke and meet up with all the friends and familiar faces..
Le Simon from Sixpack with another one of our shared distributors:
The Hamburg connection! Moritz from Esperando caps and Alexandre from YeahBoy Department. I met this guy in Barcelona and they’re doing some dope stuff…and are really nice guys with a strong clear vision, check

I bet that you look good on the dancefloor…
Next day, back to business. Sneak preview of our SS09 theme…Tonight is the Night!
Our hardcore salesteam from Panorama, ready to rock and roll:
Skatepark in the outside area:
Untitled expo with works from Bad Religion…
Black Flag…
and Obey:
Indoor bowl from Bright:
The new sales rep from Pointer;)
We met Toby Shuall from Suburban Bliss. We already liked his art and clothing a lot and it was great to hang around and introduce eachother to some people. Our german distributor will also start with his line coming season…welcome to the team! check

Peter frisco in the house! Lots of Dutchies arrived on the saturday…Freshcotton, BenG, Urban Unit, check the nightpicts later. Wouters, Martin Margielka and Toby showing his goods:
Big C und Niklas, hustlin some free tickets:
In barcelona you’ve gor the Pakistani selling beercans on the streets, in Frankfurt you’ve got Gregor Wemoto with his mobile beer unit!
Nike SB, Place magazine and azita organised the ‘Marble Ledges Sessions’; a open skate session at Frankfurt’s finest and secret spot. We had to crawl through and over a fence to get in:
Really nice spot with three new marble elements. Lots of pro’s were riding around..
In the evening we went for some wrapped food with party boys sebas and sebas, BenG, Frisco Pepe, Le Simon Sixpack, Romeo Obey and me. There was a dj playing in this restaurant and Peter even lost his taste…
Benny showing some of his blog material:
Party time again…Bright party called LL Cool Club…ai ai ai
SS Express:
Hup Holland Hup…Mark Urban Unit joins the gang:
Peter, last of the famous international playboys…
‘Yeah, we’re from Vice magazine, and we want to put you in the DO’s section, so can you please pose for us….?’ DON’t!
Early morning…sun was out there already…
Last day at Bright…nice set up from Nike SB, with a Skateboard Trivial Pursuit hang out:
Dutchies United; Sebas, Eelco, Wieger, Pete and Benny…
Finally…time to go home. Mr T-Shu / Dings joined the last day of the show, here on the way back through crackcity looking for our cars. Had a really good time here in Frankfurt! Thanks everybody for supporting, see all you guys soon!
This was my luxury ride back…3,5 hours in the back of this VW caddy between sample collections, posters and blankets. Thanks guys!

Last week it was the Bread and Butter circus again…had a good time especially thanks to my roommates…Fresh Jesse and Sebas, The Hyena ReIssue and…
ofcourse Peter Frisco, who was always late because he was blogging 24-7 in our appartment. So for a more precise and in detail impression of what we’ve done all days, check his diary
www.friscostore.nl
One week before the tradeshow started we decided to throw a little party for our friends and family from the community in Barca. Reserving a space in a dope bar, designing a logo, writing the text, printing a flyer and hoppa: REAL party was born!
Every morning we checked out the fresh meat and bocadillas in this nice old skool spanish bar…perfect for the hangovers…
The new Kaws x Simpsons prototypes:
Really dope new collabo between Eastpack and Eley Kishimoto, their graphics are crazy:
Hunting season is opened! Big C and Walid Patta know what to do when the Sports and Street hall is about 45 degrees because the airco was broke…
Launch of the Boneyards collection Stussy x NGHBRHD…Gio and Peter spend their week budget the first day over here…
Even though these guys constantly diss eachother, they’re like twins…
Jesse, 5 minutes before he got kicked out of the WAD party…
Tim! Our German hook up…doing a good job over there. Working hard as you can see;) Blue Steal Pepe and Gio lost in space:
Next day at the G-Star show..
Utopia! By Superblast..
Famous when dead..
Famous still alive..Gio interviewed by Spanish Fashion Police:
The girls we hired to promote our REAL party at the show:
Thursday evening after the tradeshow it was REAL time, downstairs in bar Dos Trece!
Instead of having turntables we kept it real and just installed a laptop with Itunes…but as soon as Lionel Sixpack walked in the room we suddenly had a proffesional French DJ…this guy stayed in this position all evening, even had somebody bringing him his personal cd’s…Serge Gainsbourg!
The party was really good with a nice mix of people…peeps from The Hundreds, CTRL, Wemoto, Alife, Patta, Pointer, Sixpack, Suburban Bliss, 667, Concrete, friends and family who dropped by…thanks! Next time we’ll be back even more REAL! Space
is already reserved…
The Eindjegramma hook up…
Went to the Vice party afterwards…too much for Big-C, check the result on Peters blog..
After the Vice party we still didn’t have enough and met this swedish girl who wanted to take us to this secret afterparty somewhere in the city…after searching for more then half an hour almost everybody gave up and returned home…except Freeman from CTRL, Jesse and me…then we finally found this secret door into the afterparty club…Classic! Being John Malcovic style….
No picts from the inside…Gio showing a nice snapshot that hopefully Sebas will show full screen on his blog
www.fresh-cotton.blogspot.com
Some proper food..Luxury Boy Gio lost all his bank and creditcards the night before..I’m proud of you son
Poolparty from CTRL and some other brands on fridaynight…massive place outside Barcelona..it took as more then an hour to find this spot…but in the end t was worth the walk..
Still at the same party…sun was coming up..
On and on from dusk till dawn..till the early morn
What a nice view leaving a party…
After some sleep…time to catch some sun after 3 days hanging around only at the tradeshow during the day..
Easy living with Wemoto..
Too tough to die…Tattoo Boyke
Adios Barca..till next time
Frankfurt here we come!

Ontour was set up in 2005 as a platform for creativity and a space to play with ideas that were in our heads for years. Since then we're steadily building up the clothing label and the world around it, including parties, expo's, publications and design projects. A look behind the scenes of our brand, our lifes, what's happening in The Netherlands and the people, objects and events that inspire us.
"What goes Ontour stays Ontour".
