Since the first time I’ve seen Suburban Bliss around I really liked this label. Last tradeshow season I had the pleasure to meet Toby, the owner and creator, and hang around a bit. I just came across this animation by John Brown and Izzie Klingels for Suburban Bliss’ Flower Skull tee and sweat…It’s super nice:

We got these picts in from a current expo in Galleries Lafayette…Nicolas Moulin made this reproduction of the Ryugyong Hotel in Pyongyang, North Korea. This scale model is the first element of a series that Moulin is devoting to futurist myths in architecture.

Our ‘Axis of Evil’ tees and hoodies are based on this hotel, a towering, empty concrete shell.
If the building were ever completed it would be the world’s tallest hotel, and the seventh largest building in the world. Today, however, it remains unfinished and uninhabited. The North Korean government has removed the Ryugyong from maps and stamps. Many sources describing the hotel consider it to be sinister, ominous and unsettling…ill.

Last week you’ve already seen the work in progress picts of The Changes exhibition here in Eindhoven. Last friday we’ve celebrated the opening of this amazing show at Mu gallery…here some picts of the final exhibition and event. I’ve done a small interview with Shauna, Misha and Fergus and this will be up in the features section soon with much more photos from Boudewijn Bollmann and me plus parts from the great publication from Nieves, PAM book and MU on occassion of this exhibition The Times they are The Changes…Enjoy!
