Hehe finally, time to do a little recap. We’re landed again in our office doing shitloads of follow up work after the Berlin tradeshow last week. Berlin was great. What can I say more? Location was ace, our complete new line was finished, feedback great and some partyparty. Here Berlin through the Ontour lens…

On the road with Messieur Etienne et Wouter:

In the city…Bruno everywhere, especially in the Shoneberg area, where I booked our appartment. Somehow I managed to book the German Bears appartment. Aiaiai I’m not allowed to book anymore appartments for the upcoming seasons.

Our very cosy sleeping room:

Tempelhof:

We showed in the sports and street area, opposite Penfield and Staple, and had a very nice space. We kept our presentation clean and tight, just like our new SS10 collection. Here some sneak previews!

First night was the opening party, but a rain storm appeared and Gio hosted his own Lotto Party in the local brewery:

Some of the Dutchies checking the new line, Re-Issue / BenG:

PartyNight 1: kick off at the Lodown / Converse BBQ ‘Simply the Wurst’ where the whole Amsterdam Caravan appeared…

Later that night WESC party in Bar25…classic location. Lionel Sixpack taking off:

And he transformed into 2 beautiful girls:

Inside Bar25:

Day after at the tradeshow again:

We brought our own male model to show the stylish accessoires:

That evening we did a nice little after tradeshow drink in one of our Berlin accounts, Kickback Berlin:

Thanks to everyone who showed up, BierBier, Bacardi, Kickback and our german distributor!

On our way to the Patta x Kangol party:

Hello Amsterdam:

Hello Nalden:

Hello Meine Dame:

Hello Meine Herren:

Time to leave..

That was it for this edition…good tradeshow, keep your eyes open for the new stuff.

CrackRock is ‘lekker bezig’. He’s been working on his own little island in The 5 Minutes Museum for the last month. I’ve visited a while ago and coming saturday the 11th of july it’s the last time to actually see all the work. From 18.00-22.00u their will be the finessage.

Photo: at TwistedStreets, Boudewijn Bollmann

“Imagine your own island. Who wouldn’t want one for themselves? Just to step out this hectic world, but even more to create your own world. One where you are the king. Not for 5 minutes, but for always.”

Hier en Daar

MU gallery added another good expo to their list; ‘Hier en Daar’ (Here and There) shows a selection of works from 20 promising artists and designers from Breda and Eindhoven, all born after 1970. They show their new work in two groups both in Eindhoven and in Breda’s KOP gallery. They will switch the work on the 25th of June from location to location.

We’ve visited the opening in Eindhoven and here some snapshots. Some by myself and some by Mr. Bollmann (you can see the difference)..Rop, our first supermodel, was selected and made an amazing piece of work, showing the old way of animation in this carroussel filled with images:

Gijs Gieskes always great music players:

Masterpiece 2.0

08 July 2009, 14.58 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Ontourist Baschz has been working on another great piece of work lately called Masterpiece 2.0.
Together with Selfcontrolfreak they’re claiming to make the first ever canvas with Web 2.0 approach.
Hmmm, how does that work? Be amazed…this canvas interacts with its visitors, who can affect the proces and final outcome of this animation.
By adding an object to the animating canvas (’introduce object’), dressing the characters with your shirt design (’shirt ‘em’) or giving yourself or a friend a role in the next scene (’cameo app’) you will add new animation to the canvas. Besides you’ll also get a one-off high resolution image of one of your animation frames, created and signed by Baschz…for only 10 to 50 euros!

Too much talk, check it out yourself here and follow the whole process live through their webcam. SICK.

press play!
