Last sunday we visited Foam (museum for photography), one of my favourites in Amsterdam. Exhibitions change all the time and the quality is high. It’s quite small, so it’s also easy to just pop in and out.
In the basement Photography – in reverse; an exhibition of work by Constant Dullaart, Katja Mater, Jaap Scheeren, Corriette Schoenaerts and Anne de Vries. Five young Dutch photographers who work with the medium of photography in ‘a refreshingly uninhibited, unconventional and sometimes slightly anarchist way.’ Nice one:

The main exhibition was from Russian avant-garde artist Alexander Rodchenko. I especially liked his early works from the 1920’s in which he played with photomontage, collages and combined graphics with photos, have a look:
