Unravel

Last weekend I visited Antwerp, always good to be there. Good atmosphere, nice stores and restaurants. Also found this new store in Kloosterstraat I didn’t knew about, quite interesting: RA

Also went to this new exhibition in the MoMu museum, entitled ‘UNRAVEL – knitwear in fashion’.

Good stuff; really nice lay out and selection of knits, from 1920’s sport knits to avantgarde catwalk pieces. From british classics, to japanese experiments, to italian luxury…have a look:

Showroom

January & February were the usual sales months and we’ve chosen 2 very nice locations for the sales in Holland this time;

Thanks to our friends from La Bolleur we had to opportunity to showcase our new AW11 collection in one of the oldest houses in the city centre of Eindhoven. Such a lovely place and perfect for our collection. Here some snapshots of the space:

AW11 campaign

Been a while…but after some really busy months we’re ready for the new season! Upcoming week we’ll be in Berlin and Amsterdam to present our new AW11 collection. Collection has grown quite a bit and we’ve added lots of new products to the range. For the photography and graphic design of the catalog we’ve worked together with Raw Color.

I’ve done a post before about their studio and their work is brilliant we think. It was a pleasure to work together and we’re very happy with the outcome. You will see the final results next winter, first the Spring / Summer campaign that will be released soon!

Blue Milano workshop

Last week we paid a visit to our Italian distributor Blue in Milan for the first ‘Blue Workshop 2010′. Besides eating lots of delicious Italian food, we presented our new collection and discussed the current state and future of streetwear. We were in good company with other guests from Addict, Loreak Mendian, Sixpack France, WeSC and Obey. Together we shared our point of views on ’streetwear’ and how to deal with new media. Duckhunt!

‘De Keuringsdienst van Waarde’ is a show were a group of people goes after the truth behind the food industry, which leads to bizarre and hilarious situations. In last weeks show, the presenter wears our Woods jacket and it turns out to be a great jacket as camouflage and protecting against the cold. As you can see in the picture below with good results.

Previews ‘Magnificent Five’

In about 3 weeks our Autumn Winter collection will be available. We’d like to show you some previews. Collection is themed ‘The Magnificent Five’.

This year our company celebrates its fifth anniversary and we decided to use this fact as the underlying theme; To look back and celebrate the magnificent five years behind us and at the same time look ahead at the greater things to come.
Besides, the magnifying glass is a metaphor for the typical English ‘Sherlock Holmes’ style that inspired us for coming winter season; the colours, the fabrics, prints and the cuts refer to this age in time. Enjoy, more will be revealed in the upcoming weeks.
