adidas house party was ON last night in Berlin! Celebrating 60 years of stars and stripes, yesterday begun with a nice offer: The Consortium Series and other adidas sneakers for 19,49 EUR (year 1949) at the NO. 74 concept store! Big queues and long waiting lists to get in the store, but for 20 Euros definitely worth it.

Normally, the adidas events here in Germany are rather boring and not very well thought of, but this time they really did a good job and put some love into decorating the store into a typical old-school apartment with a kitchen, living room, couches etc. Help yourself aka self-service all night long, Pizza boys kept on bringing huge boxes of pizza, vodka and beer all over the place, different DJ’s spinning and a nice mix of people! A REAL HOUSE PARTY! The best party I’ve been to in a loooong time…

Of course, they were also showing the adidas house party campaign in full length on screens and next door sneaker-heads were still waiting in the cold all night long to grab some 20 Euros adidas!

Now it’s official. Yesterday, we had our big show and presentation announcing our new location for the BBB summer 2009 show: Historic airport Berlin Tempelhof!

The market needed a change. The whole tradeshow business needs a change. We need a change. (looks like change is THE word in 2009!)

It was a great evening, a lots of influential people from the industry, press, the typical Berlin crowd, amazing visuals from Björn Tagemose (who works for the likes of Louis Vuitton, adidas, Lee etc.), free booze and our surprise act The Editors.

It was this time of the year again. BBB all over. We rocked one more time: Almost 80.000 professional visitors in 3 days! It was the last show in Barcelona… Adios, amigos! Sad but true. Time for change.
