I ran into Ivan from Facehunter yesterday while grabbing lunch. He was sitting with my friend Beyza and we had some time to chat. Dude is super relaxed and next to his counter-part Scott Schumann aka The Sartorialist definitely the man in the street-style-hunting game!

Somehow I ended up in there. Check out the Danish EUROMAN issue of May. I have no clue what it says, but being on the same page as Jared Leto, Michael Roberts & Co. can’t be that bad (unless it’s a “what’s HOT, what’s NOT feaure! Hahaha!). Maybe somebody can translate?

Funny thing is that the guy at the bottom, pic no. 7, is an old acquaintance of mine. Erik and I used to work together for Hugo Boss in NYC. He switched sides and works for Saks now.

The German issue of Intersection Magazine was launched yesterday. The kick-off took place at high-end department store Quartier 206. Berlin’s PR-Mitte-meets-West-we’re-so-fashion-but-still-cool-crowd had another reason to celebrate:

Those Band of Ousiders x Sperry Top-Sider shoes arrived at my door the other day. Definitely the cleanest ones I have in my boat-shoe collection. Real soft black suede leather slip-ons with nice little details. Also, loved the very subtle packaging! Typical understatement by Band of Outsiders. Just gotta love it!

LURVE magazine launch was the place to be yesterday. First, a little get-together at Wood Wood with supermodel Daul Kim spinning (felt like freakin Watergate in there!), art installations by Lurve, drinks, a lot of sun etc.

In the evening Lyna from LURVE invited to Tim Raue’s star restaurant MA, which was just simply beautiful. Nothing else to say. THANKS for having us, Lyna!!

Not only the golden chop sticks (heavy as hell!) were a highlight but above all the waiters serving the plates in black velvet gloves!

The food was delicious! (Besides that even the girls (=Bianca&Feride) were complaining that the chef doesn’t cook with ANY carbs! Meaning NO rice, bread, pasta, patatoes etc.) But we survived and compensated with drinks…
