Somehow in the past G-Shock watches never were a thing for me. I always thought they look too sporty and I didn’t really like to have plastic on my wrist. So a couple of years ago I started wearing the Casio “Classics”, first the normal silver one, then the one with the calculator, then the gold ones… I guess we all know them from way back when we were kids. Right now, unfortunately you can’t wear the “Classics” anymore, because every second kiddo is having one… (know ahmean). General problem: Call me clumpsy, but I always break my watches! At least once a day I hit my watch aginst the table, get stuck at the door or its flying around somewhere in my crib. I had my first G-Shock experience with the exchange I did with Jun just recently. I must admit I rocked the watch because of the design first, but throughout the first week, after hitting it a couple of times against my desk, after getting stuck a couple of times at the door and after dropping it, I just realized that my G-Shock is pretty much unbreakable! Basically, the perfect watch for me for daily usage. I just got my hands on the white G-Shock x Haze watch and I have a feeling this won’t be my last one…

It’s art week in Berlin. Today David and I visited Berlin’s pretty much most famous and most important art fair: Art Forum Berlin.

The day started out kind of crazy… we went for lunch at Bacomy’s, sat down and what do we find on the table?

We couldn’t believe it and were trippin about that all day long… and somehow I still believe that David put them there on the table (and he thinks I did it!).

I guess we’ll never find out… those are the little surprises of life!

The infamous SWOON/Ben Wolf exhibition called “Squinches and Pendentives” opened last night. The NY artist transformed the Urban Art Info gallery into something that reminded me of a shelter for homeless people or a tree house. Using mostly wood, pipelines and all kinds of other “garbage”, her famous plain white paper cuts, which were super super detailedly cut, were kind of hidden all over the place. You really had to look carefully in order not to miss anything…

Of course, the different bigger paper cuts were also very impressive!

The Futura “Odyssey Two” exhibition opened last night over here.

Presented were several typical canvas, but my favourite one were smaller scatches Futura drawn here in Berlin, which got sold out pretty quick (Congratz, Selim!).

The WeSC crew and Stash were also in town! THNX for stopping by the office and for the chat even though we didn’t understand a damn thing what Thomas was trying to say…

Last night it was time for the Broken Hearts Club again. Theme was “White Wedding” and I guess you can imagine how the girls were getting excited about this! They rummaged out their future wedding dresses (even their future wedding rings!) and trust me some of them really were looking for their future husbands!

It felt like a wedding out there…

This guy definitely had the best outfit of the evening! He was walking around with this weeding cake all night long!
