Neighborhood Store Tokyo
After the whole Neighborhood discussion about them using Nazi inspired signs within their collection and in their store interior, a lot of people definitely got a little bit more insight into other people’s opinions and possible reasons for other ways of perception, in this case the perception of World War II throughout different countries.
A couple of days ago, I got the news from a good friend of mine in Toyko that this little blog made some waves internally both at Neighborhood and adidas and in the end they decided to pull out the controversial Hitler teapot and other affiliated items from the store.
Another friend checked the store just yesterday… it’s all gone.
For good or bad… one thing is sure… no one will be offended anymore when entering the Neighborhood store.

haha.. good job…
nice … and then, again, it’s just a silly fashion – compared to all the things going wrong on this planet right now worth blogging about and rebelling against …
one of the weirdest fashion styles I have ever seen… I’ve seen at least 3 shops around Akihabara selling WW2 Nazi/Axis toys and t-shirts oO
power of the blog..
Personally i think this is a form of censorship.
keep being honest. keep doing the thing which you think it right. this is strong. the waves follow. arigato phillip.
You actually feel good about censoring people? Maybe the Star of David offends certain groups of people when they are visiting Fairfax shops? Should everyone go on blogs and have it censored also? Didn’t the SS censor groups they did not agree with? You are no different.
I agree with Kho and david. this is censorship at the highest degree. I also find the star of david offensive, like the last comment said. Can we censor that next on the blogs?
