Just a few days ago I was in Philadelphia and I was on my way to the Sixers game and I got a call that it was a march going on for Treyvon Martin.  It was a dark night in Philadelphia but something special was in the air

I arrived downtown Philadelphia and there was crowd of people gathered around to support Treyvon Martin. It was a beautiful sight to see all these people come out and support.

All the cameras was out. Every news station was out reporting live. There was even a man with his dog out. I thought it was a little strange that the news  caster was interviewing him with his dog and his dog had a hoody on. I guess he was trying to make a point.

There was a lot of emotion in the air. From people being happy that so many people came out to support and sadness that a young man was killed. Some of the signs that was out there was very powerful.

I guess the best way to fight anything is with love. This is what is really needed in the world.

The Neighbourhood is dark and mysterious, yet completely alluring and captivating. This is not only because of their twangy sound and driving drums, but because ‘Sweater Weather’ has a sound that drips of the rarely seen cool and damp side of California. The intrigue only deepens as you discover there is little to be found about The Neighbourhood themselves. Any hope of not being completely enveloped by their impressive sound, heartfelt lyrics and mysterious persona will be lost once you watch the flawlessly beautiful video for ‘Sweater Weather

This is something you need to be up on. New Zealand’s Cairo Knife Fight, a blistering post-rawk duo poised to give more established units like Foo Fighters and Biffy Clyro a run for their money.  They will be descending upon America, and have a big ol’ red X marks the spot on Austin for SXSW 2012. If you’re in town, you have plenty of chances to catch these guys, but for those of you on the outside looking in, Below is their video for Violence Of Action, a somewhat hard-to-watch clip that might just metaphorically remind you of an average day on the job. If that’s the case, you might want to take action for  yourself.
