Swizz has been recently teaching kids at NYU. Talk about class is in session. Swizz recently called upon his fellow peers from the film and music industry to come together and give back a little of their time and expertise to these young, aspiring students.

Swizz held a lecture at NYU’s Canton Film Centre; the session was titled ‘Music & Film – From The Script To The Score’ where he discussed his experience scoring movies like ‘Any Given Sunday’ and ‘Biker Boys’ alongside Eve, Bonnie Greenberg, Malcolm Lee and RockCorps own Chris Robinson.

It was an inspiring evening full of stories, advice and laughter. Nothing was sugar coated; it was real talk. From Eve speaking on being pressured to doing a wack track for a film to Chris Robinson’s humbling story of going door to door showing a home video on a vhs tape to music executives trying to land a video deal. All in all this was an A+. It was good to catch up with Swizz, Eve & Chris Robinson

A couple of days ago I was in the Bronx and there were various art shows around the area. I met one of the most talented and gifted people I ever met in my life.  First of all he has a celebrity name already lol. His name is Sean Paul. WOW.  Sean takes sneakers new and old even some from the trash and makes tribal designs out of them. To even have a vision to make masks out of sneakers, that’s amazing in its self. The first mask I saw was made out of the red & black Jordan Olympias, he calls this the Jordan Zapatista.

The next one was made from the rare and hard to find DQM dunk high, it took 2 pairs to make this one. This piece was made for fromTheBronx.com. It goes by the name, the Bronx Warrior. Check out the detail.

Now when I first walked in the studio I thought it was just a great chinese piece hanging on the wall but when I got close I saw that this piece was made from some vintage NIKES. CRAZY

Last but not least this was my favorite. It’s called The Study Of Solomon, they are made from Nike Barkleys. This is a great piece of art!!  Be on the look out for the Sean Paul x Set Free colab its going to be SWAG hahha. Shouts out to Sean Paul, Paul Ramirez and Jamie for the Art Show.
