My friend Akroe just came back from Japan. Usually im not at all into vinyl toys and things, i like it but you know…He bring me a back a weird gift from there: a vinyl toy. Huuhh! i was kind of surprised cause he knows im not into this kind of things. At the first read i didn’t really understand what he tried to tell me. He told me he bought it cause he think this toy look like me when im partying ” Beaucoup”…I’ve been scared first, but at the end i think he’s right. All my firends had a precise look at it and they all agree: that’s me…im pretty happy people could know what im looking like, cause i hate photoportrait of myself. Im stocked with this present thx Akroe.

An Exhibition of new work by Russell Maurice @ Stolen Space, London

Opening June 11th, runs till 28th June

Stolen Space is pleased to present an exhibition of new works by Russell Maurice.

The show is largely made up of new paintings, many of which are painted onto either old silkscreens or new silkscreen mesh.  The latter paintings have an almost transparent and ethereal, transient, delicate, ghostly quality relevant to the subject matter.There will be a number of small sculptures and an element of installation. The works collectively attempt to create a narrative, each is a fragment that forms building blocks for a larger universe, holding theoretical ‘spirits’ which inhabit each work and become a chapter forming its own macro world. 

I’ve been in London just for one day, i had time to met my friend Russell Maurice aka the man behind Gasius, i’ve been in portobello to visit La.Boca studio and James at DC recordings…we have some very cool projects with these guys…Stay focus.

French music label Institubes had the smart idea to sign up Renaissance Man on their new digital label Sound Pellegrino… I’ve been recently impressed by Renaissance Man duo mixes and they are producing some pretty cool tracks as well. All the Sound Pellegrino artworks are directed by our friends at Ill-Studio…the new artwork look pretty nice, very “Nature morte” inspiration.

Back in 80’s, The BreakFast Club, teen movie, one of my favorite + Simple-Minds hit ” Don’t you…”, cool lyrics, amazing synthetisers…nice break:)
