A conversation with Zbiok.
To illustrate the exhibition “Perfect Day”, we had a little conversation with Polish artist Zbiok.
In this interview, the artist talks about his background, his artistic approach, the Eastern European art scene and gives us some exclusive previews of the exhibition..

Hi Zbiok. Thanks a lot for letting us know more about you … First, could you tell us a bit about how you came to Art?
Hi, my name is Slawek Czajkowski, known as Zbiok. I am a Polish painter, with a graffiti experience. My art is based on observations of our societies, with a big inspiration of pop, modern, and urban art.
Right now I live and work in Wroclaw, in Western Poland.
I came to Art by studying in an Art Academy in Zielona Gora, after few years of doing graffiti. There I realized that you could say more with painting than your name.
You are very involved in the Polish street art scene. What is your present relation with Graffiti?
In my opinion, I quit painting graffiti, what I am doing right now I just call it - painting.
There is no difference for me as it comes to a medium. A canvas is the same for me like a wall, collage or anything else…
