Sixpack France x Joe Misurelli x Polaroid Capsule
We present you our new capsule collection taken from our SS10 “Peyote Poem collection” and designed by the American artist Joe Misurelli.
The line consists of three pop-abstract polaroids printed on two white tee shirts and a black one.
While creating the line, Joe Misurelli told us more about his creative process, inspirations and the feelings he had around the line.
Here are his words :
“These photos are taken with a modified polaroid pro-pack. With it I’m able to take extreme close-ups. Each print consists of multiple exposures on a single sheet of film combined to form an abstract landscape.
The concept stems from psychedelic LP art and musicians like Santana, Pink Floyd etc. but just as importantly people like Carl Sagan, Neil Degrasse Tyson and Buckminster Fuller. These dudes were the real deal. They brought deep scientific and utopian ideas to the general public.
The images that their work conjure-up in my head are what I wanted to depict in these polaroids.”
