This post is the first post of the Sixpack France blog’s new version. We’ll talk here about things not only Sixpack-related, but also about music, movies, books, design, art, and of course fashion. The idea behind this “new” blog is to introduce you, Sixpack France friends, to things that defined and still define our identity as a fashion brand, but also as regular, warm-blooded people who happen to manage a fashion brand, in which they’re injecting some crucial feelings they’ve experienced through their lives. We think our clothes are more than sheer commodities, or least that they’re singular, fantasy-rich commodities. They’re functional, anonymous, subdued textile objects which actually hide a secret meaning, something that has to do with a child’s first look on the world, or with a dreamy, hypnagogic memory. And we think our products, and the way we design and market them, can sometimes activate this gray, intoxicating zone settled between pure functionality and mass fetishism.

Anyway, let’s begin by some music made by this half-forgotten late eighties duo from London, called A.R. Kane.
You could listen to that and read some other cool articles now on our blog.
Enjoy!
