I just got back from Europe last night and the first news I get is this. Seriously what the fuck? This is in the town my moms lives in and where I went to school as a kid. While I was in Vegas a couple of weeks ago, I ran into my old homie DJ A_Dog. A certified blendaholic, A_Dog, who’s based out of Burlington, VT, has been one of my favorite DJ’s for a while. I’d had almost his whole collection but lost it for the most part between a dead iPod and mad cds that are in storage somewhere (at least I hope so man). The ill homie that he is, A_Dizzle came up to the room before the Redman show on the last night of SIA and gave me his hard drive with the instructions to “go nuts.” Sheeeeeeet, I must’ve copped like 50 cds worth of some of my most favorite long lost shit. My homie Lucas Penido of TheHypeBR has been in Brasil for the last few weeks working on some editorial with the Brasilian magazine Talk, as well as organizing his burgeoning style collective. He also went to Iggor Cavalera’s (from Sepultura and now MixHell if you don’t know nothin) wedding and ended up in Brasilian Vogue because of it. Voce ta matando o jogo irmao!

I been so craze for the last couple weeks I didn’t really have a chance to talk about how it went down in Aspen. X Games were fresh, the Santogold x Trouble Andrew show was off the chain, and the shredding killed it! We were hitting chest deep pockets in the trees everywhere! Sometimes I can’t understand why 40 year olds go to the mountains to drive taxis and make pizzas, but when it snows like it snowed this year its crystal fucking clear.

I also went to Snowscrapers last night but unlike like my colleague Chris, I wilded out on a yacht that was so toasty, I had to keep going out to the deck to cool down. Sorry my dude!
