Golden Age x Dirty Jerz

Like anyone lucky enough to be around during the Golden Age of hip hop, I get mad nostalgic for the old joints. Although most of the heat came out of the 5 boros, Dirty Jerz was right up there with Brick City and its surroundings producing a steady stream of talent that exists until this day. My homie Aaron from Boundless flipped me this mix over the holiday and holy shit did it take me back to the dirty side of things. From Redman to Channel Live to Heather B (remember her from the first Real World on MTV ha!) Jerz had joints! Download New Jersey State of Mind by DJ Teddy King and Mondee it right here.
