Air Timbo

We got to do a lot of rad stuff in Jamaica on the JTB Blogger Meetup, but by far the raddest was this leap of faith off the cliffs outside of Rick’s Cafe in Negril. We rolled up in a catamaran with a crew of 40 and despite the bottomless rum punch on the boat, only three of us were up to the challenge. When I got to the top, peeped the 40 foot drop, and read the plaque detailing the myriad of career ending injuries that could occur I knew why. The last time I had done a drop like that, off a Brasilian waterfall, I piked and ended up with bruises on my ass that lasted a week. But when the people on the boat and the crowd at the bar started chanting my name, (true story!) I knew I had to man up.
