I hit up 21 Mercer on Thursday night to see what they ended up doing with the NYC Destroyer’s shot, all I can say is that they made it big! It was pretty bugged out to keep looking up and seeing my blown up head looking all craze but it was obviously pretty dope too. Basically, there was mad coverage of the event so I don’t need to add anything, I just want to make it clear that NYC Destroyer Curtis Kulig was also in the house that night – told you you shoulda worn the jacket cousin! I had the honor of being asked to participate in Nike Sportswear’s NYC DESTROYERS shoot this weekend. I was in lovely company in a group put together by my homie Heron Preston that included my paintball nemeses Scott Campbell and Kevin Kearney, super cutie Vashtie Kola who I had never met before, and my big homie Curtis Kulig. In return for one of the most buttery varsity jackets ever and some pizza and starbucks, we all got shot by Kai Regan to coincide with the drop of only 21 units of the jacket this Friday at 21 Mercer. As a diehard lifelong Wu fanatic, I nearly lost it when I rolled into the 1992 party at Santos the other night and saw my homie Noah CEOah rocking this jacket. Too bad it doesn’t look like any of us are getting one soon, for now it’s a Power exclusive for friends and family only. Damn. Shit is ill!
