I love it when the homies get together for some good shit. My dude Brian Coleman from Timberland and the kid 13th Witness are doing a photo show / product launch that’s gonna shut down the block up in Beantown tomorrow night. It’s gonna be all fly Abingtons and Timmy’s sick flicks at Concepts, both those inspired by Timberland and his personal works as well. I woke up today to an email from the mysterious LeDeux collective. Always intrigued by what these dudes have up their sleeve, from music to art to video to motion graphics to OG Kush, I wasted no time pressing “open” over my morning cup of Bustelo. This time homies came through with a whole other bag: two tees and a belt. The first joint, an appropriation of NYC’s recycling program characters, entitled “Fuck the Department of Sanitation,” is meant to stir the said Department into a copywrite infringement case which will then cause them to notice that no one has been picking up the garbage or the recycling at the LeDeux compound in Brooklyn for months despite multiple pleas to 311.The second is a shout out to LeDeux’s family of conspirators: 13th Witness, Burnt Batteries, and Motion Tactics.
