The Pacquiao vs Cotto fight on Saturday night was one of the illest fights I’ve seen in a while. From the 24/7’s to the final bell, I was all in. Man, Pac-Man is the truth and Cotto, to his credit, kept coming back for more like a true warrior should. It was even a little over the top for HBO to keep running the tape of his wife and kid watching him get pummeled and then announcing repeatedly how they had to leave the building cause they couldn’t take it anymore. Anyway, I was stoked and I’m not even really into boxing like that. My homie Le Deux on the other hand, had this hand drawn Pac-Man shirt ready to go as soon as the TKO got called. That’s dedication!

I went on a lil skate this afternoon, which was mad lovely except for the part when this punk ass kid driving a $2 van tried to run me into a parked car on Hoyt because he was mad that I was in the road. When I told him to chill out and reminded him that he was in a 5000 lb vehicle and I was on a skateboard, he told me he was going to hit me with it. I told him to try it and big man just gunned it past me but definitely on the close side. And the idiot had like 10 passengers and the phone number of the company written on the side of the van. I hope I see you again dick.

Anyway, it was still a delightful cruise through the blooming blocks of Cobble Hill and Carrol Gardens and I got a special treat when my good homie Larry Nunez from Snowboard Magazine popped up out of nowhere in this getup! WTF Larry? Turns out homie is a stunt double doing skateboard stunts for this HBO show called Bored to Death. Who knew? No that is not his real hair.

Funny thing is that I think Larry might just like dressing up. Here’s what he looked like the last time I saw him in NY. See you tonight kid!
