The 212 Project

01 November 2011, 17.50 | Posted in Photography, homies | No comments »

My brotha from anotha Noah Ritter aka SeeThruMoney has a brilliant new solo show up now at L’asso. Inspired by his daily travels around the borough of Manhattan, The 212 Project consists of layered double and triple exposure photographs of the myriad elements that comprise our great city. Shot in his trademark style and, as always, completely free of any digital assistance, The 212 Project is presented in 5 x 7 indivisual prints or in giant 8 panel window frames reclaimed from New England farms by Noah’s father. Get down there for one of the last chances to be able to afford Noah’s work and eat a slice or four while you’re at it. Full info is after the jump.

See Thru Press

Here’s an exclusive outtake from my interview with Noah CEO-ah of See Thru Money for Frank151. I got together with my old homie who has blasted from Brooklyn to the beaches of the Dominican Republic and back with his camera to produce a collection of photos that most lifetime shooters would be envious of. Brooklyn Keeps On Taking It. DSDC YUH! The above photo is one of one, all inquiries go here.

Pizza x Photos

21 December 2009, 20.31 | Posted in Photography, homies | No comments »

My ill multi-talented homie, Noah SEEthruMoney Ritter is entering a new chamber of creativity with the opening of his first photo show at L’asso in the city today. Entitled “INTRO to MMX,” the exhibition consists of 12 double exposed shots which use money as their central theme. But as Noah says, “Money is the result, not the motivation.” He’ll be having a lil opening reception tomorrow night so if you are still in town come through. If you don’t already know about L’asso, make it an extra priority, I got no bones about claiming that they are top three in the city for pizza easy. Peep the show info after the jump. L’asso is at 192 Mott St @ Kenmare.

No Lomo!

I’m continually blown away by Lomography. In the right hands a Lomo camera creates images like nothing else. Peep this self portrait of my homie the C-E-O-ah in the ocean off Block Island a couple weeks ago shot with a LC-A. All natural light and a real wave. I have no idea how he didn’t lose his Oliver Goldsmiths.
