The streets of NY are ablaze with talk about Diesel’s end-all be-all XXX party going down this Saturday. With parties poppin off simultaneously in 17 global cities including New York, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Dubai, Beijing, Athens, Helsinki, Barcelona, Copenhagen, Milan, Munich, Paris, Oslo, Stockholm, Zurich, London, and Sao Paulo it looks like this shit is gonna be bigger than LiveEarth! Thanks to my girl Ann, I’m living a page right out of Willy Wonka , peep the invite!

Last night Danny Kass, The Dingo and the Grenade crew whipped through town as part of their Boned Age Tour to screen their new flick The Boned Age. The movie, a shred homage to 1994’s The Stoned Age was a perfect blend of big mountain and urban rail riding with enough party and bullshit to fill in all the gaps. Standout parts included Kyle Clancy going huge and Lucas Magoon going fuckin nuts. Magoon was in the House last night and almost karate-chopped the bar in half due to some perceived lack of attention from the barstaff. Good times, good times.

Saturday night, Nike hooked up a lil suare for Heron Preston’s The Young and the Banging. I had just come down from my favorite new spot Caesars on 34th street (don’t come there,please) and may or may not have been hallucinating on jug merlot. However these pics confirm that it was a good time.

Now I don’t want people to think that this is only a party blog, but shit, I guess I go to a lot of parties. Some substance is coming soon I promise! But for now here is last night’s VIP event at Burton’s SoHo store that I helped to put together as well as a little late night action from my yours and mines favorite downtown spidot Santos’. Party on!

Last Thursday WESC had a party at the flagship Bloomingdales on Third Ave to celebrate Bloomies picking up the brand. I made it for the tail end. The party was good. Now it will be interesting to see what impact Bloomingdale’s new “streetwear” department has on the direction of things. Here are some friends I ran into up there.
