“Chris Cote is one of the funniest guys around. I remember about 10 years ago when he went on a trip as a little aspiring surf pro to Japan , wrote a story on the trip that made me laugh so hard. Pretty much it was a story of him going to Japan noticing all the funny quirks of Japanese culture. From there the pro surf career took a backburner as Transworld media decided to do a surf magazine. Chris was a perfect fit with his witty writing style. Years have passed and now Chris is now the editor of the most influential mags in Surf. ”
