3 Day Weekends for the kids in Hawaii.

31 October 2009, 00.47 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

We have the best educational system in Hawaii. When things go bad and you need to save money…Lets just cut a day off of school.  Fridays are the new Saturdays for most of Hawaii’s public Educational schools and I am pretty bummed that our state is taking away the education from the kids.

Adam and the guys at Gnarled have a really great thing going.  They are really trying to change and do things different with their online store and we are so happy to have In4mation in the mix along with the other brands.  As stores are changing things up with their product selection…Adam and the crew understand what they are doing as you will be able to see full page Advertisements in Thrasher and Transworld Magazines.

Thanks so much Adam for having that vision and giving In4mation that chance.  Get some leftover Summer Tshirts now at Gnarled.

Aloha Army-Analog

20 October 2009, 22.47 | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 comment »

Just wanted to plug another project we did for Aloha Army which is the vision of my partner Jun.  Please see his story below.

Its one of those things that just made sense to do. Alot of the projects we have done are from friendships forged in the past. It all started along time ago as a small little onion of a surfer i started to travel all over the place i met some great humans Lyndon the shop manager of the world famous Huntington Beach Surf and Sport was one of them. From there on out i would see Lyndon here and there through out the years , always sharing a good vibe and good surfing times in his hometown of Huntington Beach. Then it all came together, with Lyndon being brought on at Analog clothing as the sales manager! We have always kept track of what we were working on over time. Then it all came together as they wanted to do a special Hawaii specific piece , guess right place right time the ideas came a flowing. Why not utilize the iconic shaka as a print? So you have it. Analog brought on in Mike Coots (another long time buddie whos story will be told more in future blogs) to gather all the Shakas from around the island chain, if you look closely every shaka has its own personality! Thats the beauty of Hawaii being from here you can actually see the persons personality from how they throw the Shaka!

Above…Kapu Ping. Our newest Employee.

Thank you Brooke for the photos.

Kapu also does these kinds of things.  Get your Aloha Army x Analog Kits now. CLICK HERE

16 October 2009, 00.43 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

Turntable Lab has been around for 10 years now and with a complete range of apparel, DJ equipment, Vinyl and digital music they are really doing things right.  I was really a music nerd in the earlier days and had to buy all the music that was coming out in the 90’s as there was so much feeling back then.  Turntable Lab has 2 Flagship locations in the US and their refreshing look of their own online store.  In4mation is proud to be one of the many great brands that is represented in Turntable Lab and for more info CLICK HERE!

Solitary Arts-Equal Distro.

07 October 2009, 08.03 | Posted in Uncategorized | No comments »

A really great friend of mine is involved with an awesome project called Solitary Arts.  He and an artist that has a lot to do with our culture is doing this fun project dedicated towards art and Skateboarding.

Yong-Ki and I used to work together for a while at Borders Books and Music and we grew up in similar situations and actually met a long time ago through Skateboarding.  I am really proud of Yong-Ki since he left Hawaii as he is doing really cool things and I wanted to point out some things as I get special care packages when he does new product.

I also keep all these post cards that he makes for all of his events and art shows.

for more info please visit SOLITARYARTS / EQUAL DISTRIBUTION

And dont forget that Yong-Ki has set up a special site for our brethren Kenny Brimer.

Donate now and help Kenny his fight with Leukemia.

Kenny’s also decided to get back on the board and I can tell its really uplifting his thoughts and his mind.

Thanks Yong-Ki for being that brother! I really appreciate it.
