The other day while in bed since I caught a cold that everyone was thinking it was the swine flu…GLAD IT WASNT, I got an email from our friend Kenny Brimer. Kenny has luckily found a Bone Marrow Donor and his spirits has never been higher. I am so psyched for Kenny and glad that things will be working out for him and his other half Lilly. Unfortunately we still need to raise some funds for our brother as he continues on his journey through everything. Please see link below to donate some funds towards his cause.

I remember part 2. Crooks and In4mation!

Diggin through the files and found that last graphic I posted from a little Project called Understudies. What I would like a lot of people to know is that there was a handful of great people/designers that were all under one roof at one time. I bet the guys that hired all of these guys at one point are really kicking their own selves in the ass as they had what you could call them…The Dream team. I really cant say more about the past but I do know that Dennis Calvero has done nothing but hustle. We also thank D for bringing up Rhandy to NY for the Rhino Job! Dennis is always great to work with as he will always get you what you need.

Dennis has let Rhandy and Saviour of In4mation redo the ever so popular Medusa head with a little bit of the In4mation Flair!!! Only available in our stores in Hawaii.

3 Day Weekends for the kids in Hawaii.

We have the best educational system in Hawaii. When things go bad and you need to save money…Lets just cut a day off of school. Fridays are the new Saturdays for most of Hawaii’s public Educational schools and I am pretty bummed that our state is taking away the education from the kids.

Adam and the guys at Gnarled have a really great thing going. They are really trying to change and do things different with their online store and we are so happy to have In4mation in the mix along with the other brands. As stores are changing things up with their product selection…Adam and the crew understand what they are doing as you will be able to see full page Advertisements in Thrasher and Transworld Magazines.

Aloha Army-Analog

Just wanted to plug another project we did for Aloha Army which is the vision of my partner Jun. Please see his story below.

Its one of those things that just made sense to do. Alot of the projects we have done are from friendships forged in the past. It all started along time ago as a small little onion of a surfer i started to travel all over the place i met some great humans Lyndon the shop manager of the world famous Huntington Beach Surf and Sport was one of them. From there on out i would see Lyndon here and there through out the years , always sharing a good vibe and good surfing times in his hometown of Huntington Beach. Then it all came together, with Lyndon being brought on at Analog clothing as the sales manager! We have always kept track of what we were working on over time. Then it all came together as they wanted to do a special Hawaii specific piece , guess right place right time the ideas came a flowing. Why not utilize the iconic shaka as a print? So you have it. Analog brought on in Mike Coots (another long time buddie whos story will be told more in future blogs) to gather all the Shakas from around the island chain, if you look closely every shaka has its own personality! Thats the beauty of Hawaii being from here you can actually see the persons personality from how they throw the Shaka!
