I have 4.5 pages in the new URB with Kid Cudi on the cover. And yes, That is my foot…deal with it!

Here is the Cover. It was shot by Phil Knott.

I submitted about 30….maybe 40 photos to Joshua. Shit maybe more, I forget.
I get really obsessively compulsive when it comes to picking out the best of my work.
I am now working on 2 projects….well 3. In all 3 I have to pick out the best of my own work with different themes. The shit is not easy.
But yeah…I am very happy about the photos URB picked out. I am sure you see some familiar faces.
I really love seeing my work printed, and I really hate it at the same time!
Please go out and support URB and buy a copy. I know I am as soon as I see it out somewhere. ( I already have 4 free ones)
What they wrote about me is pretty cool. Since you can’t see it all I will type it out:

Sometimes, photography is just being there. If Ricky Powell was around during hip-hop’s formative years, and B+ was present during it’s Golden Era, than Mel D. Cole is in the right place at the right time for capturing the colorful and capricious style of late ‘Oughts hip-hip. Using the precision of a digital camera and the power of the internet, Cole through his Villageslum.com website is documenting the scene as it happens. No need to wait for the coffee table book. And no wonder Kid Cudi picked Cole as his fave photog.

And yes there is a NEED to wait for the BOOK! Trust that. It’s is going to be so wicked and the brand I am working with is a winner and well lets just leave it at that…it’s on!
