Prior to its official unveiling at Pebble Beach, this week we get a look at the sporty 2019 BMW Z4 M40i, thanks to Carscoops.

From the imagery, we see that the Z4 M40i features sweptback headlights, front fender vents, a long hood, and two roll bar hoops. The rear bumper is ventilated, as the short trunk makes way for an integrated spoiler. Dual exhaust is present, and the rear diffuser notes metal accents. The exterior is then complemented by five-spoke wheels.

The interior of the ride welcomes stainless steel petals, a three-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument panel similar to the 8-Series Coupe, an iDrive infotainment system with metallic trim, and a center console that houses a wireless phone charger, USB port, and storage area.

The Z4 is expected to boast a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six, cranking out roughly 380 horsepower.

For more on the 2019 BMW Z4 M40i, which will be officially unveiled August 23, follow on over to Carscoops.

Now, here are 13 affordable cars from the '90s that are sure to be future classics.
