Editor’s Notes: The original adidas YEEZY Boost 700, known to many as the “Wave Runner,” made a long-awaited comeback this week on adidas.com/YEEZY. Following rumors late last month, the model suprise-dropped in family sizes on the adidas site. Following that early-access drop, the OG YEEZY Boost 700 will be released for adults, kids, and infants on August 17.

The “Wave Runner” YEEZY Boost 700 was initially released in September 2017 before restocking in March and September of 2018. There had been rumors about a wider size run (including children’s and toddler’s sizes) being made available for quite some time.

Since the YEEZY Boost 700’s introduction nearly two years ago, we have seen a number of different colorways and even a V2 with an updated upper pattern. Kanye West has also worn a number of unreleased colorways and versions.
